What If Resurrection F Was Good?

I never liked Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F and what they did to Vegeta. And this video proves it. OK, so maybe not hate... but the algorithm likes that buzz word. More like "mostly disliked". SO, with a complete story change of Goku fighting Golden Frieza. Instead, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta gets the shine he deserved in that movie after Battle of Gods was about Goku.

​@@SaiyanScholar Vegeta reverting to his old mindset here was a great touch. Plenty of fanfics in the past have hinted that Vegeta still has issues regarding Frieza even years later. Frieza still holds his mind captive to an extent. Vegeta didn't personally witness Goku beat the crap out of him. He barely had a chance to process Trunks one shotting him. Even if in the subsequent years he knows he's far surpassed him, that isn't the same as getting the chance to DO it. He's never had true closure on that chapter in his life. It's like a book with its last few pages ripped out.

The first three seasons of Z were my favorite and I thought Frieza was the best villain. However, I was greatly let down to see him recycled yet again for R:F. Honestly bored and annoyed with him as a character at this point.

I never did like how Goku became Frieza's biggest nemesis. Like, he fought Frieza on Namek because there was no one left, and offscreen he likely one shot him and King Cold in the future timeline without a second though. Goku had zero regard for his saiyan heritage and had no personal beef with Frieza besides wanting to put an end to his reign for moral reasons. Vegeta and Frieza on the other hand have LOTS of chemistry. Vegeta has every reason to hate him more than anyone else, while Frieza sees him as an amusing play thing. Vegeta deserved to get closure on that, especially since nowadays he'd be killing him not just out of revenge but also to protect his new home (as opposed to the old days where he'd, as Team Four Star puts it, "kill as many people as he has to as long as Frieza is one of them.")

I prefer the Ressurection F movie. It is a fun watch but they really shit all over Vegeta fans when his kill got stolen by Goku at the end. A golden opportunity missed🙄 The Ressurection F Saga on the other hand...my god i cant believe how much it sucked. It needs to be redone/remade or something. The art, animation and cheorography were all hilariously horrible, like they didn't even care. Wish i could erase it from mind lol DBSuper started picking up with U6 VS U7 but even then, it had more bad moments that were terrible to look at too lol Dragon Ball deserved better man

I really like this what if wish the movie was a Vegeta movie but i think Vegeta got More screwed over in the moro and granola arc at least when you watch this movie it doesn't really seem vegeta focused but the moro arc Vegeta feels guilty for his past and takes that fight personally so personal that he goes his own way to train ressorection f only makes you think Vegeta will win by the end it doesn't spend the whole movie giving Vegeta all the motivation making the story look like a redemption story and building him up just to lose again the only thing that makes it feel like it should have been a Vegeta movie was the trailer for the movie and toryama saying he wanted the next movie to focus on Vegeta the moro and granola arcs feel more like what he was talking about no other arcs focus on Vegeta more than those two he was at least considering it at one point

Animation and dialog really makes a movie for me. Im a nostalgia guy with certain things it's hard to move on from Z for instance and GT art style but imagine this movie with more grit. The battle with Goku and Frieza to me wasn't that phenomenal even in Blue i had no like OMG OMG moment. Vegeta was robbed made no sense why they didn't give him the win.

Let's be honest the resurrection of f TV version of it was subpar and Below quality compared to the movie version of the same plot except with less characters and giving Gohan the downplay that he got. However this one is scenario that you created scholar is 10 times better than the actual resurrection of death if anything you basically hakai the original plot and give it a new Purpose with Vegeta as the main character to give Frieza the come up ends he deserves
