When Goku and Vegeta powered up against the 1000 Cooler's that was running at them, they basically both did a full power explosive wave next to each other that roughly equals Gogeta's power doing it but wayyyyyy less power than the actual Gogeta doing it if he had been a character at the time but he wasn't . But yea they both did an explosive wave and blew the whole area up . They probably didn't destroy all of them tho seeing as they got captured right after

Gogeta = goku's power times vegeta's power so no , goku + vegeta aint really gogeta, AT ALL ! they've just been captured to be used as piles for the big gete star , this moovie hapen between the cell arc and the cyborg arc, since vegeta have ssj1 that mean its after guero show up. gogeta appears after the buu saga, when goku have ssj3 and vegeta ssj2 so even there there is no way their power, when they barely stand cause exhausted rivalize gogeta's one. So idk whats came across your head to think that, but it really is stupid.

I like this movie a bit more than Cooler's Revenge. This one kind of raised the stakes up a bit and it kind of reminded me of the Namek Saga all over again. Not only do we see the supporting characters get their chance to shine here but to also see Goku and Cooler's rematch was fun, wild and intense. Vegeta showing up out of nowhere was such an unexpected treat as well. Plus, I've always liked Piccolo's red sash moreso than his blue one. Looks more badass to me.

Man watching the original again has been such a nostalgic trip. everytime i see a thumbnail for this on youtube i just immediately think it's the abridged version lmao. I also always like to believe that these characters aren't the ones we're used to. I like to believe this is a different timeline or alternate versions of them as in the first movie we see gohan has a tail but by the time that takes place he should have it already cut off given when they say this should be taking place and the fact that it didn't seem like goku was used to using super saiyan or even having it before then given how he transforms kinda like how he did against frieza and doesn't use instant transmission at any point so i would say these characters are weaker than those that we normally see in the main timeline but on a lighter note i do love the movies cuz of the music they use

What alot of people fail to realise is that when Vegeta turns up Cooler has already become more powerful, he states this when explaining how the Big Gety star not only regenerates him but corrects any flaws and weakness. We see the difference when Goku fights him after he regenerates. He is no match. Hench why when Vegeta enters the frey he gets owned right off the bat.
