This the best movie in all movies. Look at the character development. Look at the seriousness. Look at bulma acting like a mother. Look at Goku being a parent. Look at Gohan and videl in action. Look at the dialogues are so deep. Look how emotional it is. Music flute really touch my heart. And everything is balanced. My favorite part tapion and bulma having a talk. Like talking a brother figure person who is favourite to his son. Learning everything about him. This is the bulma i like to see. The dialogues and animation isn't like today's movie that move and jump for each dialogues. Look how seriousness in dialogue 19:00 this isn't even looks cartoon show.

As far as I’m aware, Dragon Fist is one of Goku’s few original moves. Despite being known for techniques like Kamhameha and Instant Transmission, or even Spirit Bomb, those all came from someone else. It is one of my personal favourite moves, partially for this reason.

We can only assume he got it a different way or the story went differently in canon. Similar to how trunks overcame the buu arc in his own way. Maybe they free him in a different way , and trunks actually does kill him with the sword like he asked him to in this movie... although I'm sure the androids wouldn't have missed this all happening...okay maybe they tie in the fact he left in a time machine.. literally anything is possible because of that. either way, I certainly look forward to how it is handled if they do show us.

Wrath of the dragon is canon… actually all the movies from Z are canon, however unlike DBS movies, they are not apart of the primary continuity, as it is confirmed they take place in an alternate timeline. The same goes for GT which is arguably in the same story as the Z movies as we see Cooler and other Z villains during the Baby saga.

8/10 A rather fierce ending battle is the highlight to this one. I enjoy the DBZ movies, but they usually all have the same flaw...they all could have used about 10 to fifteen minutes of plot development and about five more minutes of battle time. This one is no exception to the rule. Overall I enjoyed, but I thought it could use just a bit more. Here it is nice to see they take a differing approach with the evil foe as this monster is rather large and is not the usually just smaller or just bigger than Goku villain. This monster is about Godzilla size. They also introduce a new hero character as well and he is the main focus for the story part of the movie, the time before the ultimate ending battle. The plot has him and Trunks sort of becoming friends. Of course, this also has the part of the story where our plot is established and it is rather interesting, just needed a bit more to it. Then the last bit of the movie is a rather cool battle featuring many of the DBZ warriors including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks. The battle is rather nifty as the DBZ warriors get knocked around a bit by the behemoth foe. So on the whole it is a good movie just needed about 20 more minutes of play time to it.

This my favourite Z movie by far - excluding BoG, which although it is a Z movie, I count it as super. It had a feeling of togetherness. The Z crew felt closely knitted. From them all meeting and congregating to find the dragonballs to more minor things like Gohan and Videl being a vigilante crime fighting duo. The only thing that soils it is the ending, as badass as the dragon fist is, it comes from literally no where.

What I find most interesting is that Janemba made SSJ3 look like nothing and wasn't really trying while SSJ3 killed Hirudegarn easy. But I suppose its the matter of context. Might had been because Goku at this point had gotten a bit stronger after dealing with Kid Buu and that might had been why Hirudegarn got killed. I also liked that Kid Trunks had this cool relationship with Tapion. Very wholesome. But I also get kind of annoyed how Vegeta gets treated in these films.
