By far the SICKEST version of this moment that I have EVER seen, and its taken me 4 YEARS to come across it. This is a masterpiece, and brought a tear to my eye, this moment would have been the ultimate high for me as a Vegeta fan, it wouldve ended buu right there and returned us to focus on the tournament, and actually seeing the Goku and Vegeta fight where Goku would have to get to SSJ3 as well, with Vegeta spuring him on to have an actual level fight....my word this is a masterpiece

I almost wish that this was what happened. It would have been cool to see Vegeta become categorically stronger than Goku for a while. It would also make sense that Vegeta was the one to unlock SSJ3 first because he's more in touch with his Saiyan side, so he's able to push the Saiyan power further than Goku. The way Goku could become stronger again could have been by achieving SSJ3 as well or some sort of other form that is more Earthly to reflect his non-Saiyan personality. Imo, Vegeta maxing out the Saiyan power (SSJ3 etc.) and Goku maxing out the Earth power would have made a lot more sense and could have been used as a plot point but oh well, missed opportunity.

Vegeta would end Buu and Babidi without a second thought... Also Babidi wouldn't unseal Buu in this scenario because... There is no Majin Vegeta! He turned into a Majin to be stronger than Goku in the first place

Or rather, he went Majin, broke away from Majin but still gained enough of a power boost to go SSJ3? And then instead of going SSJ3, Goku transformed into something else.

If we take plot armor, etc. Out of the equation, I still feel Goku would've achieved ssj3 before vegeta, only because, if we go by dub standards anyway he was more of an American type hero than a Japanese one, he's a bit more geared towards protecting others and such, we all know what happens to protagonists that need to power up to protect loved ones lol. Vegeta still would've achieved it, but if it were to be before Goku, those years on earth must've been intense. I still feel like we should've seen vegeta as ssj3

@@Nathan-mt9im Well, like I said, Goku could have left the Saiyan line and powered up into another more 'Earthly' form, meanwhile Vegeta carries on the Saiyan line and achieves SSJ3. Considering how strong he became when he became a Majin, and the fact that he overpowered the new SSJ2 Goku, not to mention that he has ascended past SSJ3, it's heavily implied that Vegeta can go SSJ3, he just doesn't because he doesn't see enough benefits to outweigh the costs. What would be good is if in the new series, while they are training, Vegeta goes SSJ3 against Goku just for shits and giggles to prove he can do it and probably has done it offscreen by accident/during training before; kind of like Vegeta's SSG form in the anime.

Vegeta didn't necessarily become that much stronger as a majin, he could just tank a hell of a lot more punishment than usual, oh yeah definitely though he's way past ssj3 right now and he probably achieved it before beerus or something, but like you say doesn't see the benefits with the cost involved. I've always wanted a scene like that, even though it's considered fan service which is somehow a bad thing..I believe the manga covered his reasons for not going ssj3

Awesomely animated! The voice acting is also pretty good. The one thing I personally would change, is the Theme. Instead of Goku's Super Saiyan 3 Theme, I would edit an Super Saiyan 3 remixed version of Vegeta's Super Saiyan Theme. Then again i'm no animator or music designer. In any case, well worth the wait Barkarott! You have outdone yourself, especially with the slight differences such as the role reversals and voice lines.

Rishabh Ranjan I wouldn’t say that. I think that Vegeta being a Super Saiyan 3 would make him FAR more pragmatic. Basically meaning that Vegeta wouldn’t hesitate to kill Buu on the spot. What I’ve noticed with the original three Super Saiyan transformations is that the higher the power the more animalistic the Saiyan became. It was immediately apparent when Goku went Super Saiyan against Frieza the earth raised Saiyan became far more brutal and prideful. The same went for Vegeta when he first revealed that he had unlocked the transformation. But the prime example of what I’m talking about is when Gohan went Super Saiyan 2 against Perfect Cell. Before he started toying with the Bio-Android Gohan tore apart the Cell Jr’s with ease.

Yes! A dream just come true. This is what i wanted to see in Buu saga, but it never happened. Then in Super there was that moment when Beerus hit Bulma at end of episode, and i was like it happens now or never. And it didn't happen. Then i saw your trailer, and it gave me new hope to see Vegeta's SSJ3 transformation. Then this video came out and it is exactly what i wanted. The Animation, the custom SSJ3 theme with hell's bells/ssj theme in it, Vegeta's calm confidence, the look on Karrot's face. Thank you Man for this pure epicness, for your hard work, it means a lot to lots of people.

Pedro Boh Has nothing to do with Toriyama being brave or not. He (Toriyama) had always been very vocal about not liking Vegeta as a character. He was literally made of all the characteristics that Toriyama despises in people. He wasn't even going to give Vegeta the majin thing, it was originally Piccolo. His editor suggested Vegeta after the fact. He just never liked him, so he gave him as a foil to push Goku.

Dear Barkarott, I wanted to add one more thing. I've got to read your comments, under other ones, about your disappointment for the small amount of views (for now) on this amazing animation, dub and montage. I think the views will increase by time, maybe slower than how you expected, but they will. Keep this in mind: I'm sure that almost every Dragon Ball fan in the whole world would LOVE to watch this What if scene. Most of them just don't know it exists yet. Even though currently you feel like your efforts were not worthy enough, I assure you they are. I wish there were more contents like this one on youtube, seriously. The main thing I wish you to take in consideration is to not give up and keep doing your best if it's what you basically like to do. thank you maybe you right...but without sounding like a softy :D I feel so much better to see that people like you maybe stay around on the channel...because I don't want a community out of these weird guys who post all the time comments like "thicc, vitamin d " or whatever...because the views its only sometimes disappointing to see what content is really big in the Dragonball community...videos like "videl gets raped" and what shit...that has nothing to do with Dragonball for me.
