Thanks, Steve! This is my first Elefant/Ferdinand build and I'm enjoying it.

There are two jobs I absolutely hate in building scale models. 1...assembing tracks. 2...applying the dozens and dozens and dozens of stencil decals to larger scale aircraft. Both are highly tedious jobs but have to be gotten through to move on to better things.

Tracks are definitely tedious. It doesn't bother me too much since I know what to expect going in.

Thr root of this kit is the same old Ferdinand kit I started for the 75th Kursk group build. I lost the inbuilt parts/instructions/box in my move to my house. Now I'm stuck with a 70% done Kursk Ferdinand I can't see through to a finish.

Adam, I finished building mine earlier today other than making up a set of tow cables and seeing if I can find a figure for it. I hope to get a video up Wednesday to show the completed construction. If you want the instructions I have I'd be happy to send them to you. Last year I bought Dragon Elefant #6311 and Bergepanzer Tiger P #6226 as a part of a 3 kit auction on Ebay. I've always liked the subject but I'm probably good on the Ferdinand/Elefant for this lifetime.
