Dragon Hunt!

Just recently the trust that manages the meadows where I walk my dog every day asked me if I could help to organise a treasure hunt as part of a family social day. I was happy to oblige and made nine dragons to hide in the fields for kids to find.
In this video you'll see the making process from start to finish and the dragons being released into the wild. Another fun arts project using recycled waste materials.

It's a shame there was no Puff the Magic Dragon there. Little Jackie Paper would be so sad. Also, it's not great that so many local pubs are closing. If it takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the pub, it usually takes hours to walk home afterwards. The difference is staggering.

That's awesome and a great way to give kids some fun outdoors, the dragons are incredible looking, perfectly silly but well crafted enough to tell there's effort in the sillyness! Plus, dragons are just the best. Well wishes from California!

Thanks! The idea was to keep it simple and cheap! Almost no costs involved. And the kids loved it. And hello California! I've visited you a couple of times - I always felt welcome :)
