Some of the things I love about the song: - the flow of the chorus feels like waves tossing you around, and II's rolls mimick that - that sort of repeated high tone reminds me of a distorted submarine radar beep (it comes back in The Apparition) - the lyrics are just fucking 🤌🏽✨

If you pay close attention to the synth melody towards the beginning, and right before the breakdown,it's the same one they used in Jaws. I found that out a few months ago, and it blew my mind, lol.
