So, fun fact! It is somewhat canon that, during that shot where Sora cries a bit at the end of this part of Mulan's world, he's thinking of Riku. Now, obviously, that doesn't show in-game (maybe because the player is supposed to make up their own answer, something that happens a lot in this series), BUT it does show in the KH2 novel. While it's true the novels are written by someone other than Nomura (Tomoco Kanemaki, btw), he does oversee them, so they are secondary canon (canon unless it contradicts the original canon, aka the games)
