they're made in dalian china by the hanwei forge with koshirae design by frenchie jin.

IMO, feels better than the Raptor tsuka; a little less "axe handle-ish". Very nice review! Mine came very sharp, and cuts tatami very well. Paid $329 at SBG store.

I really like the fittings on this one. I tempted to see if a custom forge can recreate the tsuba for me.

With the issues it isn't a glowing endorsement for Dragon King. The fittings are nice, but.. 🤷‍♂️ I think I'll still go with the HuaWei 9260 mat cutter that I've been looking at
