Elders fish with the Aquarium DLC installed. Villagers also have different functions depending on clothing. Townspeople's Togs wearing ones (Blue and White outfit) does nothing, but eat your food and breathe air. The ones wearing red outfits cooks and brings food to the table.

true. like the soldiers have different attack patterns. color is notnjust cosmetic.

Soldiers and villagers do different functions based on color. Green Soldiers cast multiheal Red Soldiers cast defensive buff Blue Soldiers presumably have a special attack Villagers are a bit more vague. Red villagers will cook food. As for blue villagers and the older women in purple.... I need to do more experiments to figure out their deal.

Old people fish I have also heard that depending on what your villagers wear can also impact what they do, but I don't know that one for sure.

Make sure you get a photo of you gliding in the air with Grandma when you find her!

Male dancers are more common then female for some weird reason in my game. Also limit sucks as monsters also take a spot on island and are more usefull then normal citizens. Chimera, large cat and golem are a must have to speed up exploring. And killing machine is probaly the most usefull for farming. (24 in total to recrut -- 12 in total for all jobs)

Don't worry, there is another free update comming in 4weeks that gives us more personal islands, so you can recrute monsters then move them to their own island soon :D

If you have your npcs change into armor using the change room the npc’s defence stat increases

Alot of these I didnt have to recruit for the tablet target, the story guys you bring over from the main islands count. Only needed an elder, singer, villager and merchant I think. I had everyone else

On 0:16 there is a Female singer from Furrowfield named Zoe. She has the miniature portrait on the list, just like the other unique characters (Bonanzo, Rosie, Lillian, etc.) different from the residents you get on the explorer isles. Is she a different character? How did you get her?

Use the Mirror of Ra on the dog you met and stayed behind in Furrowfield. NPC is a reference to the Princess of Moonbrooke who was cursed and turned into a dog.

Don't think it matters which 1 you get, but grab 1 of each if you're still having trouble. 3. & 4. Iridescent Island = Merchant & Miner 5. 6. & 7. Laguna Perfuma = Child, Nun & Elderly person 8. & 9. Sunny Sands = Bartender & Bunny Dancer 👯 10. Rimey Reef = Soldier 11. Defiled Isle = Singer (Female) 12. Unholy Holm = Bard (Male Singer)

I have a few questions as I don't have the game 1:Are some of the NPCs randomly generated like appearance etc so I can find ones I think looks cool 2:can I take like a small party with me of them? 3:can I play without the dark hair dude following me around ?

1- yes (the small island folks are random appearance wise) 2- yes you have a small party but you cant take main island folks to another main island 3- yes you can remove him from the party Though you get most of the options later in the game. -MD

Alot of villagers can wield a sword such as Babs and other residents just go up to them with a sword and it should say click whatever to give sword to Babs foe example. Hope that helps

Add them to your party through the Registery, then they will follow you to the small islands if travel there. -MD

You can only bring back one per trip. But I think you can get one villager or animal (pet) and one monster.
