We are currently in Chapter 2: Rimuldar. Previously, Davilas solved Thalamus's quizzes and made the Catholicon Ring, the ultimate in status resistance in this game. Now, he will work on two challenges: obtaining the Crown Goowels and raising the base to Level 5.
After resuming, Davilas takes the Red Teleportal to the Ancient Palace area (time 0:20).
In the east of the island, Davilas finds a pond shaped like a Slime (time 1:15). How adorable! Davilas must fish up a King Slime from this pond.
After a short time, Davilas reels in a King Slime (time 4:39).
He eventually defeats it (time 6:07). The King Slime drops the Crown Goowels! It is a material, but I don't know if it is used to make anything.
Davilas uses a Chimaera Wing to return to base (time 6:57). Now, he works on improving his base. He sets up the Evil Idols near the entrance.
Then, he works on building a platform over the Banner of Hope where he sets up Ballistas to fire at the Hades Condor (time 8:52). He sets up four. The most important Ballista aims west in a straight line from the Banner of Hope.
The Hades Condor also employs a tornado that can blow you out of town and into the mire. The best defense is to have a roof under which you can take refuge.
Next, Davilas upgrades the inn. With four Simple Beds, it becomes a Grand Guesthouse (time 14:27). Davilas also partitions the inn into two rooms.
Afterwards, he makes Wooden Floor and then Wooden Flooring kit. He uses this to upgrade the flooring in the rooms.
In the process, the base reaches Level 5 (time 19:38). Yeah!
Due to the size of the Transmutation Table, Davilas also enlarges the Alchemist's Laboratory a little bit.
Next time, Davilas will fight the final battles of Chapter 2.
