This song may not seem like much but the amount of passion and the journey this piece delivers is just incredible

I love how this song doesn't feel frightening or scary in a sense, but moreso eerie, like feeling chills running down your spine or getting goosebumps.

To me it feels very foreboding. Every time this plays in game some major plot developments are about to take place. Like in the final tower at the end of generation 2.

@@excrono in plays in every goddamn cave, dude. I love dragon quest, but the pedestal you people put DQ music on is undeserved for sure.

@@shadowreaver23 Really? Why? And and what music would you prefer we put on that pedestal?

@@excrono I'd prefer more ingame music variety. Again, i love dq games, but those tracks become more grating the longer you play. having just one or two "town" tracks for the whole game is just lazy. And they did it again in DQXI. I mean, hell, FF games had different town themes since snes?

@@shadowreaver23 All very fair points, thanks for your perspective.

This song is wild. The way the instruments "swell" and create tension is astonishing.

Best DQ5 song in my view. It so insanely beautiful yet spooky. Suddenly I feel like I'm about to be eaten by skeletons all over again.
