Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:12 - Azlan Housing Area Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan Housing Area. He is currently a Level 50 Death Master. He checks his mail outside and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Davilas Zooms to the East Glen Region - Well destination. 2:22 - East Glen Region Davilas goes down the southeastern well at F-7 to Dezlin's House. 2:50 - Dezlin's House Davilas talks to Dezlin at E-2 (3:11). Dezlin issues Quest 607: "Taking You from the Dusk", the fourth Death Master vocation quest. Time to help Nelim. The first objective is to visit Papilma at the Wilderness Resting Place in the Choppi Wilderness and acquire a certain bell. When he ready to go, Davilas climbs the rope at D-7/E-7 out of the well. 5:27 - East Glen Region Davilas Zooms to the Wilderness Resting Place destination in the Choppi Wilderness, Pukland continent. 5:40 - Choppi Wilderness At D-5, Davilas talks to Papilma between the item shop and the bazaar (6:32). Papilma gives him the Silver Bell (白銀の鐘) key item. Next, Davilas must use the Death Master's Curse (呪詛) ability on a Boss Troll (ボストロール) and defeat the Boss Troll. This will change the Silver Bell into the Soul Calling Bell. As Papilma says, Boss Trolls can be found in the Verse Mountain Forest in the Wena Islands, but there are other places where they can be found, such as False Rhone Forest. The Curse (呪詛) ability is earned by putting 28 points into the Spirit Medium skill. This is not an issue at this point in the quest line, since there are now 60 points in all Death Master skills. Davilas Zooms to the Verse Mountain Forest destination, Wena Islands. 8:39 - Verse Mountain Forest Davilas arrives at a sister at E-4. He sets his allies' tactics to let him handle the monsters. At E-6 in the area south of the sister, Davilas encounters a Boss Troll (ボストロール) (10:32). He uses the Curse (呪詛) ability a couple of times and then instructs his party to finish off the big guy. After the battle, the Silver Bell changes, and Davilas obtains the Soul Calling Bell (魂呼びの鐘) key item. He must now report to Dezlin. Davilas Zooms to the East Glen Region - Well destination. 12:01 - East Glen Region Davilas goes down the southeastern well at F-7 to Dezlin's House. 12:23 - Dezlin's House Davilas talks to Dezlin at E-2 (13:10). She presents a choice, but I'm not sure that it matters in the long run. She gives him the "Welcome, Death" (おむかえデスよ) key item. Seems dubious. Davilas must now consume the "Welcome, Death" at the empty sofa. Davilas examines the empty sofa at D-1 (15:46). He lies down and consumes the "Welcome, Death". 16:14 - Twilight Garden Davilas arrives at the Twilight Garden (黄昏の園). He must now examine the sparkly spot ahead of him and ring the Soul Calling Bell. At E-4/E-5, Davilas examines the sparkly spot at the base of the Mugwort Tree (16:37). He chooses to ring the Soul Calling Bell. A cutscene with Nelim takes place. 19:44 - Dezlin's House The cutscene continues back in Dezlin's House. Davilas learns something important about Dezlin. Very interesting! Davilas agrees to Dezlin's request. After he regains control in Dezlin's House, Davilas reports to Dezlin at E-2 (28:11). Quest 607 complete! Davilas learns the Death Master's Coup de Grâce ability, Death Power Boost (デスパワーブースト). This ability boosts his death power gauge to maximum. He also earns 20 skill points in all Death Master skills. Davilas now has 80 points in each of the following skills: Scythes, Staves, Bows, Axes, Fisticuffs, and Spirit Medium. He learns the appropriate abilities and traits, and he earns accolades for achieving Ranks 7 and 8 in the Spirit Medium skill. Davilas reaches Death Master Level 51 and earns 1 skill point for a total of 138 available. Davilas talks to Dezlin at E-2 again (31:19). Dezlin issues Quest 608: "You Swear to the Soul that Rises to Heaven", the fifth Death Master vocation quest. She gives him the Dezlin's Needle (デズリンの針) key item. The next objective is to investigate the Oath Falls in the northeast of the Gilzad Region. Davilas climbs the rope at D-7/E-7 out of the well. 33:50 - East Glen Region Davilas Zooms to the Cove Settlement destination in the Gilzad Region. 34:04 - Gilzad Region After arriving at the Cove Settlement at E-4, Davilas makes his way northeast. In the northeast of the zone, Davilas examines the Oath Falls at H-2 (36:36). He soaks Dezlin's Needle in the waterfall basin. His next objective is to report to Dezlin at her house. Davilas Zooms to the East Glen Region - Well destination. 37:21 - East Glen Region Davilas goes down the southeastern well at F-7 to Dezlin's House. 37:45 - Dezlin's House Davilas talks to Dezlin at E-2 (38:29). Some dialogue takes place. Now, Davilas must use the Spirit World Communicator and enter the phrase that Dezlin said. Davilas goes to the Spirit World Communicator at D-1/E-1. An event takes place when he speaks the phrase "デスマスターはしなない" ("The Death Master will not die") in general chat (41:38). For this, of course, you need to be able to enter text in Japanese. Davilas chooses each dialogue selection throughout the communication session. His next destination is the Boronus Lava Flow west of the West Gobul Desert. Davilas climbs the rope at D-7/E-7 out of the well. 47:02 - East Glen Region Davilas Zooms to the Merchants' Tents destination in the West Gobul Desert, Dwachakka continent. 47:16 - West Gobul Desert Davilas arrives at the Merchants' Tents camp at D-5. He follows the path west. At A-4, Davilas exits to the Boronus Lava Flow. 48:40 - Boronus Lava Flow At C-7, Davilas examines the stone monument on the southern side of the bridge (49:17). A cutscene with Nelim takes place. After she reminisces, she and Davilas find their enemy in the distance. Looks like he's practicing some eclipse necromancy. After the scene, it is boss time (54:45). The main opponent is Gismeyer, King of the Dead. He has disturbed several undead soldiers from the long dead Gaterian kingdom to serve him. Nelim, Level 50, assists the player's party in this battle. However, with my party's levels, the result of the battle is pretty much a foregone conclusion. A cutscene takes place after Davilas and Nelim win the battle (56:11). Davilas automatically travels back to the East Glen Region. 1:00:26 - East Glen Region Davilas goes down the southeastern well at F-7 to Dezlin's House. 1:00:42 - Dezlin's House A cutscene takes place when Davilas arrives in Dezlin's House. I think Nelim's disposal of the accursed book was entirely appropriate. Quest 608 complete! Davilas earns the Proof of Death Master (デスマスターの証) badge accessory and 20 skill points in all Death Master skills. An epilogue closes out the Death Master vocation quest line (1:07:17). Davilas now has 100 points in each of the following skills: Scythes, Staves, Bows, Axes, Fisticuffs, and Spirit Medium. He learns the appropriate abilities and traits, and he earns accolades for achieving Ranks 9 and 10 in the Spirit Medium skill. Davilas equips the Proof of Death Master through the Proof of All badge. He spends 50 skill points in Spirit Medium for a total of 150, leaving him with 88 available skill points. He learns a new Death Master trait and some new Death Master abilities. Davilas climbs the rope at D-7/E-7 out of the well. 1:11:11 - East Glen Region Davilas Zooms to the Glen Castle Town - West destination. 1:11:25 - Glen At the pub at D-2, Davilas visits the Alltrades priest and changes his vocation to Level 109 Sage. Then, he visits the item shop at F-3 and sells off his cosmetic Death Master gear. He also sells off his cosmetic Druid gear. Afterwards, he Zooms to his house in the Azlan Housing Area. 1:14:29 - Azlan Housing Area At the bazaar, Davilas puts some items up for sale. Then, he rests in his house and signs off.
