Dragon Quest is a beautiful series in a way. It started of as just a favorite rpg series but now it's become one of my favorite game series of all time. So many memories with 8, 7 on the 3DS and the original PS1 version and of course 11. PLEASE can 12 come to PS4 and PS5!

All I want from the revamped system is something akin to what they did in Yakuza: Like A Dragon, where it's slightly more involved in some ways, but retains the typical style of Dragon Quest. I guess other examples would be like Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario.

Man DQ8 is among the games I would kill for to get a remake. It also allows you to collect monsters which is something I missed in dq11. But maybe they could breath more life into the world by allowing the monsters to roam free instead of the random encounters?
