11:39 if you didnt watch ahead and are there without the ability to use a bow, but have a sorc pawn(I'm assuming an archer pawn would work too but I don't actually know. I only had a sorc pawn) stand right against the window with the sorc pawn next to you and use the "go" command. The pawn will blast the door open. It might take a couple tries but that's how I got in without running all the way to town to change vocation

I love the thief vocation, so useful doing Capt. Brant's quests. Shadow veil literally makes you invisible as long as you want as it doesn't consume that much stamina, pretty broken IMO. One of the best starter/early game vocations. Mid to late game I prefer Spearhand.

There is also a Gazers hood in a chest. Its located in the area connecting the to obstacle courses at the thieves guild. Along the right wall there is a small hall way.

Im running similar but main pawn is a mage and then running a warrior and archer, that way you have 2 close (thief and warrior and two ranged, mage and archer) working well so far

11:30 No need to be an archer. There is an explosive barrel up the ladder near the north entrance to the camp, you can throw it at the door.

Oh so you can switch vocations out in the wilds by equipping its weapon? I thought you had to switch in an inn. Just asking since you said at 11:50 that you switched to Archer to shoot the door bar from the rear window.

For an even better hood, if you have the skill to jump off walls you can go down the side tunnel in the underground hideout in the hidden village.

There is a thief headpiece in the nameless village obstacle course. Its between the first and second parts of the course and you'll need a jump skill like levitate or thief concuss to get to it.

If you wan to earn money early look for pawn quests that tells you to camp or kill a Cyclopes. I usually set my pawns quests to 10k reward but at lower levels you probably find rewards for 1000 to 5000 gold. I started to do 10k rewards after lv 20 as you can find others doing it too. Then everyone goes home rich as you can do 2 cyclopes kill quests for the paws at the same time...

Smoke Shroud pretty much makes you invincible as well, plus it lets you one-hit kill any basic enemy inside it. Also, learn how to dodge step > basic attack > dodge step to move around the map. It's faster than sprinting and takes zero stamina. Thanks Capcom for your wonderful stamina penalty every other vocation has to suffer through while the Thief gets away scot-free and moves even faster.

Unfortunately Concussive Step/Leap do not appear to work correctly on PC with mouse and keyboard. You can only leap straight up. No changing direction midair, etc. which makes the skill so useful.

Yes the explosion effective 1 shots most low tier mobs and launches most mid teir flying or staggered. It also knocks good chunks off of boss tier. Griffins especially if you stand in their back and spam it.

I had a sorc pawn with me, stood right up against the window looking at the door and did the "go" command. she shot the barricade down with a lighting attack

Thief actually has one of, if not The Best Weapon in the Game being Heavens Keys. They are only available in the True Ending, but the have a combined Physical and Magic damage of 1100 if upgraded with Dwarven Smithing(AKA The Best), which is better than even Warrior Weapons. The only Weapon ive seen with better Stats is on Duo Spears, but they dont have the DPS of Daggers, and its around 100 more total damage difference. Thief is the most OP Class, and the Assassin of DD2!!!!!!!!

I have been so so confused why I have not heard people speak on Heavens Key. I been rocking it and never looked back. I keep hearing about framae blades which are not stronger. Also considering stats balance out later makes it even more stronger. If you mix it wit Spearhand augment that's buff strength at day and magic at night your good!!!

@@dewanewelch1744 There is a reason why once you hit Level 45 or so and play Offline, all Thief's are using Heavens Keys. Since there is no Assassin(for now) in DD2, the Thief is the best DPS class, and those Daggers not only have some of the best Stats in the Game, but they are Holy, and I cant think of any Enemy that is resistant to Holy.

You need to find Lamond at the Hot Springs in Geyser Hamlet, then you get a scroll called rearmament to use but you lose a skill slot for equipping it so can only chose 3/4 skills, albeit from any class......
