You don’t need the added protection. You could easily beat the game with fully upgraded starter equipment

6:15 if you want to get technical about which pieces visually go together, the Fiendish Armet and the Grand Cuirass go with the Brutal Cuisses. The Vigilant Greaves are (design wise) supposed to go with the Stygian Omen and Subjugator's Sallet. The Thrasher Chest goes with the Blazing Soul helmet and Executioner's Greaves (which incidentally was the Immortal Set from DD1). The Gryphic Helm and the Valiant Armor are supposed to go with the Raptor Claws. The Vanguard Greaves are supposed to go with the Dominator's Armor and Agamenian Galia.

On my first playthrough, my main pawn was a male, and no one ever hired him. In my current playthrough i made my pawn a petite stacked woman, and she gets hired all the time.

LoL thats awful - dude u've just put wrong sabatons on #2 and #4 - change their places. otherwise those "sets" look awkward. give u a tip - despite different descriptions and not connected names - parts of a set have the same materials, style and BONUS EFFECTS (the same spectre of effects with different percentage).
