Dwarven smithing is the same as vermonth but with more knockdown power/defense. Its my go to for all armor and strength based weapons. For magic weapons (mage,sorcerer and magicarcher)the elven smithing for the highest magic damage.

I also sometimes use Batahli smithing for pure physical weapons, especially those where knockdown is less of a factor, like small rapid striking weapons.
@duarteleonardo83527 ай бұрын
@@Dare_To_Game just remember to consider that knockdown also affects stagger, so it is still usefull on daggers. I dont see any case where that slight difference in strenght makes up for the huge increase in knockdown

Dwarven also adds weight.

@@Dare_To_Game Is there a way i can give seeker tokens to dragonforged???Meow

I like Elven upgrades for staffs, magick bows, and censers, battahli for pure physical, Dwarven for phys+magick, and dwarven for pretty much all armor.

That's pretty much how i do things too.

Most helpful dd2 video by a long shot. Thanks for the upload but if you can cover magic and armor as well it would be most appreciated!

Yeah, they can go by relatively unnoticed if you aren't looking.

Can you do a video where you do different upgrades types on the same weapon? Like vermunduan first. Battahl second and Dwarven 3rd and see how that differs from the others you just demonstrated?
@VisionoftheChief7 ай бұрын
The wiki shows it for every weapon, even after dragonforge.

@@VisionoftheChief I may not be finding the same wiki you're referencing because for some reason I'm not finding that info but maybe my google skills are just lacking this morning. You got a link?

Perhaps. I'd have to test it first, and see if there is a tangible difference in doing it that way.

So id like to point out when you went to the battahli merchant which I think it was the merchant you specifically buy armor from, it does make a difference between going to enhance your weapon from the armor merchant instead of enhancing it at the actual weapon merchant.

Appreciate you doing this. I had an idea that each different upgrade had its own strength/weakness but now I regret that I upgraded one of my weapons at the elven smith. Wish there was a way to delete upgrades and start over 😢
