Dragon's Dogma 2 - Unlocking shortcut from Melve to Sacred Arbor

Just to help players find this place, it is in the northeast most corner of ancestral chamber. You find a cave behind the spiral staircase outside. On the northeast of the cave is a small hard to find opening which has the door.

Just wanna say thanks. I got this to work. Night time. They weren't there. Saved and reloaded. They were there. Opened the door.

You can also pick up pawn put them near a corner of gate. walk into them to push them through the door. Then triggering the Help command, or most likely even Go command would force them to attack the bar and break it.. - Could try to slow your movement speed by attacking with mage auto attacks.. if it doesn't work when pushing at speed.

Thank you so much! A skeleton was visible but despawned almost instantly when I got there.

Seems to be the only way possible... for people struggeling, i had success by letting the small skeleton destroy it. The large one doesnt attack

The creature just disappears and is stuck on the stairs...

Sadly the skeletons ran away instead of coming down for me. So until they respawn closer again, I am locked out of this shortcut. 😢

you can save and reload. sometimes there are no skeletons at all even.

there is an entrance directly next to the spiral staircase leading up towards sacred arbor. the entrance to this section in the cave its a bit hidden but you look at my mini map and you should be able to find it.

I question the design choice of how this was supposed to open. Like I had to came back and forth to this place 7-8 times at night for it to work. surely there's a more legit and smooth way to do this.

did you save and reload directly infront of the door?

For me, the skeleton always just backs up the stairs and disappears?

Save the game and load it again and be near the gate, they will start to attack you after that they will hit the doorlock and it will open. I just did it.
