Magick Archer feels a lot more like a Mage than an Archer, except your spells take 2-5 seconds to cast instead of 10-30 seconds, you get a dodge roll, and you have much longer range than spell casters. I think it will be the most popular Actually I guess they might have taken their dodge roll away, even though Archer gets one without needing daggers

Magic archer was my fav from DD1 because it’s the only vocation you can Solo the game :]

biggest problem on this class is you are in aiming mode 24/7, loses all mobility from archer class and has no daggers anymore, boring as heck to play just aiming all day long, it's versatile tho since it's the second class that can heal aside from the mage, shame you have to play it yourself and can't give it a pawn to outsource the effectiveness

That's exactly what I'm thinking, that's why I'll probably play the warrior and then see what the war master will be like in the end, but this permanent aim mode is kind of annoying and super boring, even with Horizon you don't just have a bow even though that's the main weapon
