Danny's wordplay is top-tier. He uses compound metaphors and triple entendres like no one I've heard. A song to check out is Drop for Every Hour. It is *very* dark in subject matter but one of his most powerful murderfolk stories.

He’s pretty amazing. Murder By Death is another pretty unique darker band that is quite great and has been around for 20+ years

His Live recording of “For a Few Good Men” filmed inside a house is, imo, his absolute best performance. Everything he does is incredible, that one just really shines.
