I like the progression quirks of this game. The training dummies to extend Kaioken and the run down Snake Road are both such cool ways of making the player feel rewarded for hard work while still being optional. A lot of modern MMOs either don’t get the reward aspect of a grind down, or don’t have enough barriers to make a reward feel satisfying and exclusive

It feels good at the beginning but once you hit a certain threshold, it becomes super annoying and boring. It becomes a bandit beater with crossovers, and don’t get me started on the amount of things we’ve been promised just for the devs to say “oops we didn’t finish it” and keep pushing the deadline forward to cover their problem with over promising.

I played this game as far as I could at the time half a year ago, it's so fun and the cutscenes later on are _wild!_ Definitely keep playing if you need some content, this game just keeps surprising you! (Btw make sure to train super saiyan kaioken etc off camera, there's a time gate later on and you need all the kaioken for endgame raids. And fight the ape around SSJ3-SSJ4 level for a rare drop you need and makes crazy content)

So, a really interesting thing you missed by dying is that you're supposed to die with hazel to get to the otherworld, but instead of being by interaction it just activates with the quest so if you die while the quest is active it just gets you to the otherworld without having to speak to her

If he plays DBC I'd love to see him play on a server with custom quests and other content, DBC was my obsession for like 2 years! I really liked the official Jingames server and the Chaos server (which is open PvP and a lot more hardcore, though it's no longer official as they stopped supporting it but the admin still hosts it as his own server now while he develops a DB MC mod) Also it's not out yet and probably won't be this year but there's an absolutely insane DB mod called Dragon Block V that has been in dev for like 4 or 5 years now, I followed them in their Discord for years and it has more detail to it than any other DB fangame I've seen!

Fun fact: Rhymestyle actually has playlists from around 10 years ago playing Dragon Block. Yeah, i agree, i would love to see him play the earlier versions of Dragon Block (specially with add-on mods and custom story-lines, i always add the movies side-quests that has piccolo's skin bugged as a white square).
