He first lost control after he first laid eyes on Goku, undergoing an incomplete SSJ transformation, locating the room Goku was in and attacking and straight-up trying to kill him while he slept (or at least that was clearly Broly’s intention) all-the-while ignoring everybody else in the room. Then when he transformed the second time, he COMPLETELY ignored Super Saiyan Vegeta’s attempts to fight him; not even flinching at his attacks, all the while laser-focused on Goku. He only started focusing on other opponents after he shattered his father’s control apparatus.
