I may be mixing this up with another system but I thought weapons had durability points, and a parry against dmg that was greater than the value was a hit against the durability points. Its been a bit since I read the rules. Could be mixing the durability point thing up with Death in Space lol. Regardless, I appreciate the vid, I own the module + the in-vtt books, didnt know about the Year Zero combat module! Also reminds me I am very looking forward to getting the bestiary for Dragonbane!!

Yes the sword and dagger both have durability, and the dagger got trashed by the attack and the sword survived. Is this what you meant?

Great vid, but don't forget to make Evade rolls to move away from an enemy when you are adjacent to it (does not require an action)! Maybe allow someone to find an improvised weapon if their knife breaks? Great stuff!!!

Nice video! Don't forget that you can apply damage automatically, either by targeting the token before makíng the attack or by selecting the token after you roll damage, and right-clicking the damage chat card. See the instruction journal that came with the system for detailed info. Nice to see how swift it was even without those shortcuts!

I have been playing Dragonbane for over one month. This is on my top RPGs of all time. So many fun mechanics, combat is quick and the monster attacks make combat more fun. I have always used TotM so I am not used to the VTTs because I want to spend any extra money on other fun games but this looks cool.

Theater of the mind is terrific, and you could use it even with foundry! This is a really cool game!
