Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been working on my architecture portfolio with a tight budget, so I’m not planning to spend too much on something that might not work for me. Thanks to this video, I know which paints I need and how many coats I should do. Again thanks!

These glazes are beautiful, it depends on your design to get a unique look. I love the dark clay but liking the white much better, thanks so much for sharing must pick up some and it was nice hearing your voice 💐💐💐

These paints are actually made for dark objects. For instance, paint your piece black, then apply the glaze on top of the paint. Black clay works best, but other darker clay colors work as well. Since this product is a “glaze” it’s not going to cover like “paint” . Thank you for the comparison to video. Always good to know about new products. I have all the colors and I love them

Thanks, a great review. I have ordered #5 & #6. Now I want the other 4 choices. They are wonderful, we can see the results fairly well on this video. Good idea doing the swatches for reference on color selection.

I saw somewhere that you needed 4 coats to see the full effect of these. I just found 3 of them at Hobby Lobby in Northern California. Have not tried them yet though. Thanks for the demo!

Thank you Janet the more coats you brush on the more intense the effect but let them dry in between coats and have fun 👍

Shake bottles WELL. Apply 3-5 thin coats. Let dry in between coats 2 hours. Full spectrum is the only one disappointed. But you can buy the powder extremely inexpensive and add a tsp to the "full spectrum" bottle to boost color.

I have tried it on baked and unbaked, I found it tacky? Am I doing something wrong? Please help if you can😬
@CelebrateCreations3 жыл бұрын
Hi Heather, you have to let it dry between paint coats. Don't use sculpey lll it is to soft for this paint. Hope this helps.
@heatherkohorst74933 жыл бұрын
I have tried it on premo but it didn’t dry even in 24 hours?
@heatherkohorst74933 жыл бұрын
How long did you let it dry?
@CelebrateCreations3 жыл бұрын
If you live in a very humid area it may take time to dry also make sure you mix the bottles very well using the handle of a paint brush to move the paint from the bottom. I have found that is works and looks better on black Baked premo , try using your finger applying a very thin layer then put it in oven for a minute do this in between each time applied till you get the desired look please let me know if this helps🙂

I tried the full spectrum one but I’m hardly getting any shimmer at all 😭 even when I used multiple coats. Mine looks nothing like yours sadly

Hello Maryum make sure you mix well the glitter may be stuck to the bottom, I also used premo clay and it may also take several coats hope this helps🌸 thank you for watching

Thanks for the video. What do you think the advantages/disadvantages would be for using these instead of pearl ex or some other type of color shifting dry pigment ?
@CelebrateCreations4 жыл бұрын
I think the biggest disadvantage of paint is you have to wait for it to dry and the advantage is the more layers of paint the more intense the shifting of color the pearls ex is a powder pigment and will set somewhat after baking but still have to be sealed even after being baked it can be rubbed off or smeared I hope this helps and thank you for watching 💕
@karenmccabe21674 жыл бұрын
@@CelebrateCreations I totally forgot the pigments would still rub off after baking. I'm not a big fan of shiny finishe, is there a non-shiny one you like ?
@CelebrateCreations4 жыл бұрын
Hello Karen for a more matte finish i would probably go with a matte color acrylic paint.👍
@iLitAfuseiCantStop4 жыл бұрын
Is there a reason why you painted them prior to baking the polymer clay? I'm just curious because although it's termed a "glaze" its not a traditional pottery glaze in the sense that youd "fire" or bake it. So I'm just curious. I look forward to your response & hope you are well ❤
@CelebrateCreations4 жыл бұрын
You don't have to bake it on the clay. I did to see how it response to heat and it works fine. Also the heat seals and secure it to the clay . And thank you for watching Litafusei 👍

I have seen Rachel Rocks Canada using the Glaze under Epoxy Resin. Remembering, it is a glaze, not an actual paint like Folk Art Colorshift. It really depends on the desired resukt that you want. In my case most of the time I will prefer it under my paint work. Being a glaze, if I change my mind, I can put a second coat on. Meaning it will enhance the under coat but only put a delicate coat over my subject. Like everything, it is how you use it. I have just received Liquitex Iridescent medium in the mail. That is what it says, an iridescent medium to mix with acrylic paints. I am really excited about trying that out. 8ozs cost me AU$25 so I expect US$20. I know there aren't that many crafter using mediums on YT because they use Deco Art which is a great acrylic for Dot Art painting. I think the education on their use is sadly lacking but easy enough for anyone really wanting a better understanding. I have the iridescent, gel medium to thicken and a gloss medium I can use to thin my paint and varnish with it. I also have from Deco Art, pearl, fabric, and glow in the dark luminescent mediums ordered. Meaning I should be able to add them to my color choice of acrylic paints to turn them into what type of finish I want. I find that very exciting and considerably cheaper for unlimited choices of finishes. It also ends up extending you acrylic paints as you mix the mediums with your paint choice.

Hi, I don't know if you'll see this comment, it's 18 months after you made the video !! I've used these glazes on black Mont Marte baked polymer clay here in Australia. After the glaze had dried, I left it for a couple of days, then used a sealant over it. The problem I then had was the glaze went tacky, and if you touched it, you would get shimmery glaze on your hands. Now I'm not sure if this is a glaze problem, a sealant problem or a clay problem ? I used a crystal clear acrylic spray sealer.
@CelebrateCreations4 жыл бұрын
Hello Allison 👋🏻 I use a water base polyurethane sealer to seal much of my projects and had no issues. So I think it may be your spray sealer they contain alcohol and other products to speed the drying process and could be dissolving your pain . Hope this helps. And thank you for watching 💕
