Great thanks for your content. It has already been very useful to remove the 10 pin plug from the back of the casing. I'd not been able to do that until now. I had been working unsuccessfully to replace the gold pins and engineer a new system to prevent socket rotation in the board to prevent the original problem. I figured desoldering the existing pins from the board and replacing them all the way up through the plug with a new plastic lock system. This method was unsuitable because the pins are difficult for me to procure and the system I was designing to prevent rotation was quickly requiring more precision that I was capable of reproducing. I will attempt to reproduce your method of wiring. My brother will be delighted if I manage to pull of the repair :)

From the backside with chassie connector in right position, you have +12V down to the right ( five o clock) and 0V down to the left (seven o clock) / Reidar

Thanks for the reply. I gave 12V directly on points 4 and 5 but the dragonfly does not turn on. I have given an internal check and I don't see any faulty components. do you have any advice for me? thank you

No no advice there. I'm not so knowledgeable in component-level troubleshooting. I did this repair for a friend where the starting point was that if it did not work, he would still have to buy a new Dragonfly. We were quite convinced that the plug was disconnected from the circuit board. Here in Sweden, they have been sold at a good discount. About 4,000 sec / $ 400

I have the box open, but can't remove the lock collar from the connector on the back. Any tricks to remove the green lock ring?

I thing you just have to turn it anti clockwise with a bit of force.
