4:51 wasn't a mess up. That was the spice of blues. Nobody recognizes how well he incorporates blues in to his pop songs. He's definitely the best blues artist of this generation/best guitarist.

ehhhhhh no that was def was a mess up. I will concede the fact that he's a talented guitarist, but it doesn't take a musical genius to hear that the note (or notes I should say because whatever combination of notes he strummed there before playing the right notes on 4:53 is definitely, most definitely, a mess up). We all make mistakes, and so does John: that doesn't mean he isn't an amazing guitar player (I mean he's been touring with the Dead for couple years now so that's one of the many testaments of his talent, in addition to playing next with BB king, eric clapton, and many other legends). But in this very instance, he did make a mistake.

So confused. Is this a Mayer sig or a SRV sig strat? It looks like Mayer's signature but you can clearly see left hand trem at 4:34 - 4:35 But the hardware is all chrome. Stevie's is gold. So is this a SRV body, with a Mayer pickgaurd and minor mods? The SRV pickgaurd that comes on the guitar has Stevie's SRV initials, this one doesn't.

The body is definitely SRV. Part's must of been changed because John did own a 96 SRV strat. This would also explain the left hand trem and chrome parts.
