That's kinda the point. They realized early on that half the band was wasted during their shows, which could've crippled their revenue if it spilled into the studio where album sales were starting to dwindle. I think replacing ZP and making Vadim sober up was a smart decision. While their studio work is still a bit dated, they sound INCREDIBLE live.

Lots of ripping on D-Force here. Having followed them ever since Valley of the Damned, they surely don't sound like their studio recordings. But no metal band does these days. In the Ultra Beatdown tour, ZP was really sharp and I had more fun at that show than any of their other tours. And Herman and Sam kill the entire songs live. They aren't perfect, but if you've ever tried to play one of their songs, a single one would take out the wrist of most guitar players. The fact that they can do it continuously for nearly 2 hours is superhuman. Dragon force forever.

I like how people are saying that the performance here was terrible. The thing is, this was during a time period where the old singer was at the end of his time with this band. Plus, because of how high his vocal range was and how much he abused during concerts, he eventually started struggling to hit certain notes within his range. And to try and counteract that, they tuned down the guitars to a lower scale, but that still didn't help. Other than that, it was a good performance.
