Dragonlord Placidusax - No Damage Taken (Elden Ring)

Working on a video comparing Placidusax, Midir, and Bayle. I needed footage of Placidusax, so I decided to just bite the bullet and do the no-hit now. Do you guys like Placidusax? Let me know in the comments!

I enjoy Placidusax, but their fight is very slow paced and on the easier side of things.

Yeah, I haven't touched him in over a year, and replaying him now right after doing Bayle, I kind of found the whole experience a little meh.

Placi also has some jank hitboxes like his wing attack for example but it's very easily avoidable by just not being at his side. I don't like that he can spam the laser attack even though it's an absurdly large opening. Feels like that should have been a phase change exclusive attack. His repost window should have been longer and done more damage also, it's literally more optimal to just keep attacking him during a stagger because it will do more damage. Kind of disappointing. On my RL1 hitless win I staggered him with a throwing knife though which was really cool. I quite like Placi despite these criticisms though.

@@BBQcheese He's a mixed bag for me. He's very cool when he's more active, but he does do a lot of sitting around. I also DESPISE the ground fire attacks. I can't stand having to constantly run away. The rear fire breath is especially atrocious with how quickly it hits you.

I like Midir and Placidusax way more than Bayle. Bayle is a spectacle but I found the fight way more hectic then it should have been. He is rampaging stamoeding throwing tantrums and spewing fire all over the arena. His lore is really good the huild up excellent music outstanding and his arena is gearogeous and the suspense and excitement when going up the spirit springs and an equally visually impressive design. But with that his first phase is pretty standard he is Midir 2.0 but his second phase is where things get chaotic. I would s till rate Midir higher than Bayle. But Bayle loses points for his lock on mechanics and his atrocious damage output during second phase when you can't even see where he is coming from after having to play the first phase without lock on. Midir lock on is a subtle guide to his obvious weakness Bayle not so much.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't fully agree. Bayle's lock on needs some work, but I think locking onto him is wayyyyyy more viable than Midir. Locking onto Midir is a great way to get smacked and not hit him!
