This guy used to sell self help videos for Harleys back in the 80s.Really helped me out when it came to working on my cantankerous Shovelhead. His teaching method was sprinkled with snarky humor. If I remember right he made the news back then after being pulled over for doing something like 150 mph on a custom Harley he built

Respectively... the man has no idea what he is talking about. a good amount of the stuff in his "museum" has been proven fake and he has singlehandedly driven the prices on m1 helmets and rifles up among the shooting community. Dude is just a rich guy that buys a bunch of stuff but doesn't do any kind of research to back it up. more a 2-bit collection than a real museum.

@@deequalizer8524 Many of his japanese flags are fakes done by marines during the war to sell to soldiers and navy personnel. If you translate them then most of the writting is either gibberish or the menu items for japanese rations. The "Nazi Room" is an ecliptic mix of fakes, reproductions, and some original items. The Belt Buckle pistol being one of the most egregious. Most collectors believe that all of these are fakes done in the 60's-90's as no historical record exists of them being made or contracted by the German high command and even the original owners of said collectibles state that they are most likely fakes. Also most of his information is wrong as he consistently gives wrong dates or uses for items like his "death camp boots" that were actually cold weather boots made for guard or sentry duty where you'd be spending long hours standing still, NOT for combat against the russians... I can go on and on if you'd like

Those life belts given to those on D-day to save them from drowning are actually meant to be worn up higher on the body. Naming it belt was kinda dumb but imagine activating it on your waist with upwards of 50lb of gear above it. I wonder if anyone toppled upside down and actually drowned because of it but I think I’d prefer to think no one met that outcome. At least there’s no reported cases of it happening. I remember watching a video that had brought them up mentioning even though they were called belts they were intended to be worn more so on the chest. Pictures have a mix of people wearing them like belts or bras in the landing crafts so I idk what they were told.
