Not sure if you're reading comments on your older videos, but: PCU - Performance Cost Unit - is an arbitrary number assigned to every block that scales linearly with Keen's belief of how complex that particular block is to update the logic for. Armor Blocks are 1 because there's not really a lot of logic to go with them - the functional blocks are a lot more. The main reason for these PCU assignments is to limit how much you can slow down a given server. You have a PCU budget that you spend as you build, and reclaim as you grind down. Once you hit the limit, you can't build any more until you grind down something you've built previously.
@RickyC06265 жыл бұрын
Damn, I'm always amused by the size of each build and how smooth the building designs are. I can't wait to see how huge your space stations will be. If you ever use programmable blocks to automate, it would be even more epic. Just imagine a whole fleet of drones mining every asteroid and building their own stations.
@smbarbour5 жыл бұрын
Officially, PCU is performance cost units, so the higher the PCU, the more taxing it is to run... but I propose "Potential Clang Units" instead :P

welders are working correctly. you broke one turned off the group (but broken block can't be turned off) then repaired the welder so now it is on and the other is off.

I checked them on my own after repairing them and they were both off. Also neither of the lights on the welders were on. It's an old mod so bugs like that are to be expected.

No for stone and iron speed is good, because you refine a lot of them, yield is good for rare resources. I recommend you to use them.
@DragonNationGaming5 жыл бұрын
@@doomdave475 Some time ago I did a video comparing each of the modules and testing if they were really worth it. I would have to retry the test because I forget the results but it ended up being more efficient to just build more refineries. Upgrade modules came out after Keen had already lost interest in the game. They were just adding stuff to keep people interested at that point.

In the last episode, you were talking about how the turn around in the tunnels would be hard, so what if you made a turn table that spun your Hemits around? You could also put rails in the base of the turntable, so that not only could the Hemits turn around using it, but you could also have your trains switch tracks, or turn around themselves.
