Hello your info about Da Nang is great. I would like to vacation there with my family for 3 weeks. In March/April. Please tell me what it looks like with mosquitos, since I am traveling with children I wanted to ask about your experience. Is it very bad-many bites? Is it a place to vacation with children? have you taken any vaccinations also for your children? can you use tape water to brush your teeth? Did you also tolerate the raw salad with eating? Sorry for the many questions, but I am now also a father and a bit worried about my children. Thank you and best regards. Emil

We were there in December, so mosquitoes weren't really a concern as much. This is the insect repellent we travel with: www.learnersandmakers.com/our-family-found-the-best-insect-repellent-for-kids-and-its-deet-free/ We filtered our water while in Vietnam. We are very cautious and also used filtered water with teeth, but I think a lot of people brush teeth with tap water. With little kids, I'd just use filtered. Here's more info on what we do and a faq: www.learnersandmakers.com/drinking-water-safety-a-family-travel-faq/ We didn't do any extra vaccinations, but people sometimes get Japanese encephalitis vaccine. Check with your doctor to see what they recommend for the amount of time and time of year you will be there. We were also very careful with raw fruits and veggies. We always washed with filtered water and didn't buy pre-cut. In restaurants we had no problem and didn't worry about it there. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I love them! They are the best because I can collapse them down when we travel. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore...

@@LearnersandMakers how long have you used crutches?

Since I became an amputee at 13, but I only use them when I'm not wearing my prosthetic.
