Dragons are OP in MODERN? | Zoo Dragons | Modern | MTGO

Hello everyone! Today we are playing BREW that I like to call DRAGON ZOO! Made this build a while back and had good results and a lot of fun with this list. The idea of the deck is kinda "fancy" BURN build. We have lots of spells that goes face like Bolts, Flings, Phlage and Invasion of Tarkir. Dragon package consists of Scion of Draco and Moonveil Regent. Moonveil Regent is crazy good with Leyline of the Guildpact. When Moonveil Regent dies while we have Leyline of the Guildpact on the field it actually deals 5 damage which is insane! We are running classic ZOO package with Territorial Kavu and Ragavan. We are also running 2 Arena of Glory which is pretty good with the number of creatures we run! Gotta mention that Invasion of Tarkir is flipping really easy in this deck! Sideboard is the same from the ZOO build (last video) with I won modern challenge. Check out the gameplay and let me know what do you think about this DRAGON ZOO build!

Awesome list! I had a question about the manabase, why do you run Xanders lounge instead of indatha triome? I like that indatha let's you play turn 1 ragavan off of steam vents into turn two indatha + sac treasure to play scion. Is there a reason to play Xanders lounge instead?

Yeah that is one big minus of xanders, it is great triome for this deck but i'm still considering other options.

At 1:08 you said that you can draw 5 cards, but Leyline affects permanents, while Regent checks spells. So I believe Regent's 1st ability is not affected by the Leylines feature, unfortunately :C

@14:10 i dont understand why youre not dead to them here? dont they just loop young wolf and kill you? the apprentice makes them go life neutral and you lose one life every time meaning as long as they have more cards in library than you have life youre dead

Apprentice doesn't gain them life, they can only do ability 6 times and then die.
