I think it was Deborah who once told a pitcher to get out of the den, because they were being disrespectful to her, and that was before the other dragons had said that they were out. It's been a while since that happened, and I could just be wrong.

@@Locutus I don't recall that, but it is worth remembering that what we see is heavily edited - some of these pitches go on for hours and most of what goes on never makes it to screen. They might have stuck that bit in because it looked dramatic, but I'm sure there was much more to it on the day.

I often wonder who the best Dragon is. For me it's a toss up between Peter or Deborah. I think Deborah is far more cunning and clever, where-as Peter relies on brute force reputation which is why so many people end up going with him.
@EraChanZ4 жыл бұрын
I have the feeling (nothing more than a feeling, obviously), that Peter never gets as personally invested in the companies as Deborah does. I feel like Peter is more there, as you said, for reputation/connections, money and advise.. but he's less of the ''hold you by the hand and take you step by step'' guy than Deborah is. I feel that in general for any business that has someone at the wheel that pretty much knows what they're doing, and just need a few tips here and there and strong connections, Peter is the guy to pick. If your business isn't really underway yet, and you need more assistance, go for Deborah.

The educational power of this series can never be calculated - it is way better than business school and other so-called tertiary pursuits that parents spend billions on every year and which deliver very little - I had my eldest son Tim in boardrooms with potential investors whilst still at school and taught him systems - over time - today he is a much better entrepreneur than I could ever be and he will go on to be an investor as well - well done Dragons Den - may you be with us for many more years....
