She specializes in the building industry and home diy. She already owns tool companies and has connections in both the building and hardware retail industries so it would make sense that she could see the potential as it’s most advantageous to the person who already has the manufacturing base and experience in bringing new tools to the marketplace. Luck is being prepared when opportunity comes along. Deborah happens to be the lucky one in the room because she already has everything in place to quickly bring down the cost of manufacturing the product and has the pipeline setup to see that is gets distributed en masse to the public via Europe’s biggest hardware stores. For non trade people I'm going to simplify the use of it- when i fit a gate post which is 100mm deep 4" a pencil can't physically get in the hole to mark for the bolt so we used to measure the holes which is often off a few milemetre. This tool/marker one handedly squirts the paint 100mm deep to the wall which is 100% accurate to where I hold it. I drill the marked hole and job done! Peter is right. You could spend 10 minutes battling with a tape measure and a sharpie to mark holes that are usually a few millimetres out due to unavoidable human error, but nonetheless has worked for electricians, builders, carpenters, DIYers and plumbers for years. Or you could also make an investment into one of these, skip all the hassle, do it with pinpoint accuracy and not have to carry multiple sharpies around in case a nib inevitably breaks or one dries up. I feel Peter acts purposefully obtuse to scare out other dragons from investing, so that he can swoop in and make an egregious offer as the entrepreneurs last chance at securing a deal. In this case, it didn't work, and so he tried to undercut the competition. THAT would be an intelligent thing to do, and explain him being so bleeding dense. Either way, glad they chose Deborah. As an occasional DIYer that puts up fixtures, these things are brilliant. Rest a spirit level on whatever you're fixing to a wall, make sure it's level, use one of these and you're good to go in a mere minute or two.
