Steve and Michelle are owners and creators of a clothing brand designed for tall and plus sized women. They're seeking an investment of £60,000 in exchange for 30% in their business, Fat Frocks.
The Dragons seemed intrigued by the venture and gave crucial advice to the pair on how to and how not to approach patenting their business.

He is right though - you can't possibly have a patent on clothing design like this. I feel for these couple while the so called patent attorneys trying to milk them for thousands and thousands quids. Wish them the luck in probably not becoming a multi millionaire but at least making a decent earning for their family.

I worked in high fashion woman's clothing for over 30 yrs. Its easier to make dresses without sleeves and this is the problem woman face. If I had these in stock I would've tripled sales. Woman over 40 usually hate their arms and this is a fantastic accessory. No woman wants to always wear boleros, jackets or cardigans. I hope this went on to make money. I certainly would buy them ❤

Because there are limited selections (particularly of formal clothing) within womenswear that have sleeves? Because women might for aesthetic or religious reasons actually need coverage that many types of clothing don’t provide? I can tell you from recent experience that out of a bridal shop’s catalogue of over 500 wedding dress designs, only maybe 30 were marked “suitable” for tall or plus sized women, and, of those, only 4 had sleeves.

HILLARY RIP left the show over 10 years ago. I've never seen this on the market. Limited niche appeal. If you cannot wear sleeveless, why buy it. There are so many alternatives in cover ups, there are many choices. They may have sales but not for investors. 150 items at 15. Under 3K in months.
