@@venicetaylor1448 my playthroughs normally end with Wyll going with Karlach; and I haven’t tried either of their romances because they seem like they form a pretty nice relationship together (even if it is or isn’t romantic) in the ending where that happens. Like the times where I went “hmm should I romance Karlach?” I felt like I was stepping on Wyll’s toes and vise versa; I never even started the character I was specifically going to kill Karlach and romance Wyll.

I think it's because most of the other companions understand that this is the risk one takes when making a pact with a demon. It only takes one little screw up in order for a mortal to get screwed over. It just sucks that Wyll is punished for something that is out of his control (provided you're not playing s Wyll and Tav is making the decision for him; which royally sucks).

@@madamefluffy4788 On the other hand if he ever broke his pact he knew exactly what would happen to him, just seeing him when he spares Karlach, he's fully prepared to see Mizora kill him right there and there and being condemned to the Hells for all eternity for it as a lemure so he knew what fate he could get if he ever stepped out of line, or if someone else screwed him over intentionally or not. He made a deal with a devil he was sure as hell ready to be damned to suffer for all eternity for it, because I seriously doubt that until he got tadpoled he ever truly believed that he could ever get out of that pact with his soul safe from the Hells, always hard to get out of devil contracts.

Theo's acting got me fucked. Such a shame that we can't get all the characters with exclamation points. Wyll traveled with them, and only character HAS SOMETHING TO SAY! unprompted?? Also, some of the lack of sympathy is so ... weird. Like dang Gale sounds so neutral in the one where Wyll dies in front of him.

Gale surprises me sometimes... he's supposed to be one of the more compassionate and good aligned characters, but his reactions to stuff seems so dry at times. Like when a spawn Astarion is burning up on the docks at the end of the game he's just like "welp, we'll never see him again I guess!"

@@nozomi90oh yes i think i remember seeing a clip of that! i mean astarion is FAR from my favorite character and even i was like wow. i mean it is sad if you think about it; how HAPPY he was to being able to feel the sun again only to have that newfound happiness cruelly snatched away. gale's reaction should have been more given how much they've traveled together. maybe it was a late add on dialogue?

Actually, this is the only way Mizora can be killed. The illithid pod is capable of sealing away magic. In this situation, the mind flayers under the Absolute's control can destroy a demon like Mizora. Separating her connection to the hells. In Wyll's pact, if Mizora IS killed, then the pact is fulfilled. Otherwise she wouldn't be too upset about being annihilated.

@@redrum47 that's the writing unfortunately. i remember one time i had had my shadowheart romancing tav kill shadowheart, in front of the group, and .... nothing. NADA. no reactions. the characters got madder over me killing VOLO in another PT. it makes no sense lmao. or when tav does the nasty with the emperor?? no reaction. maybe the writers didnt think many people would pick these options so tehy didnt write reactions for them or didnt do them long term. but it's like why add them if you're not gonna see them through with the appropriate consequences?

Actually frustrating you can’t do anything to hurt her efforts. At most you can majorly frustrate her if you break Wyll’s contract and also save Duke Ravengard. All that does is annoy her a lot. But you can’t do anything else to get back at her

@@BlueSpams Honestly, a chain of events I would've liked to see happen was for the pact to be rescinded, to save Ulder Ravengard and foil Mizora's plan, then when invading the House of Hope, she shows up because she's incensed that we pulled one over on her, and we get to kill her AND Raphael in one fell swoop. That would be amazing catharsis.

Mizora is probably the boss in the hells you would want to work for if you were forced o choose one 😂 She is also the best ally to call in the final fight as the rest of them end up being distraction fodder at best and she puts out one time if your into that lol Save Mizora Save the world.
