When I fought with the avatar of the god of death I had to spend resources to free her from another cell, she made a couple of hits and died, on the next turn she got up and missed a turn, then died again - she was a burden the whole fight. Within the plot, she was imprisoned using a trap for preschoolers (let's go to that dark basement, I'm definitely not planning anything bad)

Syphoning her immortality is incredibly stupid when you think about it. Given an infinite amount of time, anything that can happen WILL happen, so if Lorroakan and Aylin are truly immortal they have infinite time in their hands, and one day she will break free, and kill him, just like Ketheric, it might take a few centuries, a few millenia or billions of years, but it will happen. It baffles me how none of them actually thought this through, I guess hubris really makes you blind. Edit: I'll have to add this, because some people won't read my other replies and i don't want to keep saying the same things over and over again. Yes, he will live longer, but she could choose to just torture him for basically eternity instead of just smiting him. It's up to you if you think the gamble is worth it.

@@Kusabiii Well, she made a vow, so even if she changes her mind (which i doubt she would, i mean she tried to smite Thorm even when he surrendered) she doesn't really have a choice. Besides, she is the daughter of a goddess, she can just torture him until the brink of death and then heal the wounds and keep at it for as long as she wants, he is just a dude after all. In the best case scenario, the gamble might be worth it, he gets to live a few thousands of years and then a quick death by being smited, but it all depends on how cruel and vengeful she will be after such long imprisonment. One thing is for certain though, when she gets free, he is dead.

This video (your Astarion has some serious drip, i have to say) reminds me that, while this game is mostly great, let's be honest, evil options are almost always disappointing. And kinda dumb... It's mostly evil for evil's sake. You know, i see a lot of players tell things like "Oooh i would never do that" about evil choices, and, while i know most players are simply "good" people, i think it's also a bit of a symptom : more evil decisions should be tempting, actually believable, but in BG3, they are simply not worth it, because you rarely get anything worthwhile for puttings your morals aside. Even Slayer Form, which requires you to play Durge, isn't really that good. It's like the game has some moral message, but if you handle it that way, then evil makes no sense : complete psychos like Durge or Orin aside, which evil self-interested character would actually make evil choices in a world where you almost never get anything out of it ? Chaotic Evil is not the only evil. This quest is a good example : which evil character with more than 10 INT would trade a demigod ally for 5k gold ? If you could enslave her yourself, and, not get immortality for balance reasons, but at least get some demigod powers out of her, the choice would be understandable. Still really evil and f*cked up, but logical. It would make actual sense. Well it would be reckless because you never know when she'll be free of you, and some day she will, but it would be really tempting for power-hungry Tavs. Better than... 5k gold. (Final note : honestly, even an evil Tav would totally destroy Lorroakan simply because he's a cocky bastard. Man is so insufferable it's surnatural.)

When you visit Lorroakan or his shop for the first time you can then go to camp and tell her there is another person who wants to trap her. She decides to fight him and when you go to the tower again she will be there with you.

The allies are so useless in the end battle anyway, they just run to the area where those vines grab and kill them. Only heal and aoe ones have any use. She is very good cause you can control her, so I'd def save her.
