I miss this game, probably my favorite app game. Maybe they could make a full-blown adventure game where you breed dragons to use them in battle. That was something I had in mind even before the game closed.

This is the BEST advertisement ever! Not only the animation here is better then in most movies but the fact I never played this game in my life yet I STILL remembered the song and dragons and even the story after all these years (Side note: looking back I noticed alot more things today then before but I always knew this ad was kinda.. er.. suggestive-)

I found someone’s animation reel for DV World here on YT kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIvKmGqsl92mbtk And I also found some of the models posted on Artstation! So some are definitely still around; probably in a few people’s professional art portfolios. You can find them looking up “Dragonvale” or “Dragonvale World” there

Backflip studios went bankrupt and shut down, as well as all of their games. There are a few (I only know about the original DragonVale) who was then bought by another company who did a good job continuing the game
