I know it's not a use case for everyone but I'm glad Chevy allows you to connect two phones fully through Bluetooth. Love that the system is also smart enough to do seamless switching between both devices whether it's me getting a call or playing music.

Hey Brooks! Just a couple of notes on your great video. PTM stands for Performance Traction Management. Basically different levels of traction control intervention. Also, you can also get into Launch Control by double tapping the TC button in Sport Mode (Competitive Mode) or Track Mode (Brings up full PTM options). Great video and can't wait for more Z06 content as an owner myself!

@@DragTimes Nope! So if you double tap TC in Sport Mode, it will bring up Competitive mode. Thats a different version of PTM with no options but allows for Launch Control. I prefer to launch in this set up as it softens up the rear suspension a bit. If you are in track mode and double tap TC (or hit Z twice like you did) you enter PTM mode which has 5 levels of traction management inside track mode. Launch control works in all 5 of these PTM modes.

as a C8 z06 owner, if you';re buying one just understand 23's dont have soft close. and if your battery dies you'll be locked out completely until you change the battery. on the soft close they keep a secondary charge that doesnt allow the battery to die fully to open the door or trunk/frunk

The automatic c6 corvette paddle shifters are like the McLaren upshift and down shift on each paddle on each side. I wonder why they didn't do that with the c8?

Huracan is a 10 years old platform. And this thing for sure doesn't beat an F8 Tributo, except in a rigged race of course.

@@artansadiki3244 10 year old platform, the Corvette was never meant to be as fast as supercars and I know the c8 only beats the f8 from a dig not from a roll, but it beats the huracan from a roll aswell, and that's amazing considering the cars is way cheaper then most supercars, your getting more for your buck. And either if the huracan is a ten year old platform it still improved over the years

Dragy is accurate. Built in timer is not. Everyone likes to post built in timer results but almost no one posts stock C8 Corvette times on Dragy. There is a good reason why that is.😉

I’ve posted up dragy results publicly on my C8Z from the street. 10.8 @130 on the street consistently, 7.7 60-130. Ran consistent 10.7’s at the dragstrip but dragy wiped all my data from the track day before I could even look at it properly. Stupid app was having major problems.

This is the ultimate car from Corvette. It's a shame that Chevy corporate didn't rein in the unscrupulous dealers. Lucky for me I found Leach Wilson Chevrolet in Shelbyville IL. they are selling their corvettes at MSRP. Yes, even the mighty Z06 is at MSRP. I've been dealing with Aaron, but everyone at the dealership is just fantastic. Chevy should reward these dealers by providing them more cars, as they could sell them and make Chevy corporate look like they want buyers to have the cars. I did have conversations with other dealers and one wanted to sell me a used Z06 for 218K. Golf Mill was the worst and the person I talked to was the most arrogant. I would never go back there.

Flat-cranks sounds like a couple of four cylinder engines at the exact same rpm. They got to fiddle with the header-lengths to make it sound like a V8, but then it will loose some power...

The Hard top convertible z06 is so much better than the removable top "coupe". Can drop the top without losing the trunk. No weird unlatching ugly latches and carrying some top to the trunk. It looks so much sexier top up and down. HTC FOR LIFE!

Feel like this is a classic tennis ball debate, but IMO, that car is 100% not yellow, it's green. It's a very light shade of green, but green has far more shades than yellow.
