Just you wait, Blue eyes is going to get a fusion with Dark Magician aswell to act as the counterpart to this card. Dragun of Blue Eyes. Same stats and effects as this one, but can nuke the whole field instead of 1-2 monsters (to mimick the effects of Burst Stream of Destruction) and gain an additional attack for every normal monster used to fusion summon it. Or a modern version of Dragon Master Knight that can use any Luster Soldier+ any blue eyes fusion and actually has decent effects.

dude you can do one of two tricks to beat this card and thats use a kaiju on it and 2nd you can bait out its negate effect by using two traps and i should know the 2nd works very well cause i pulled it off by baiting it to negate my mirror force then i filp out a dimensional prison afterwards and the only reason it worked was because my opponent had other monsters he was attacking with at the time

So was curious of ruling, if you could use red eyes fusion to summon this card without using red eyes as material. (Requires Dark Magician + Red eyes B Dragon, or effect dragon monster) Just example: fusion summon with red eyes fusion dark magician and blue eyes alternative from the deck. Red eyes fusion doesn't say you have to use red eyes as material, just that it has to be listed as a material. So a dark magician deck could run this with no red eyes b. dragon. Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster that lists a "Red-Eyes" monster as material from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand, Deck, or field as Fusion Materials, and if you do, its name becomes "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Red-Eyes Fusion" per turn.

I found a DM/ DMG deck to be relatively easy to make that can beat Blue-Eyes. All you need in the circle, Eternal Soul, the Fusion that protects S/T and Ebon Illusinary as a base. You then can use the summoning/ battle effects to completely remove B-E entirely.

Holy shit Konami finally made a good DM Boss. Activate One For One Special Summon Black Metal Dragon Link it for Striker Dragon Striker searches Boot and Black Metal searches Return of Red-Eyes. Summon another monster and Link for Anaconda. Anaconda mills Red-Eyes Fusion. Mill DM and REBD/Mana Dragon Zirnitron to make Dragun of Red-Eyes. Field: Anaconda + Dragun with a free discard (Boot Sector) plus a Set Return so you can revive Vanillas/Dragun. All with 3 cards.

Did you guys forget that "Dark Magic Secrets" was revealed a little bit ago? I mean Red-Eyes Fusion is still a far more powerful Fusion Card, but Dark Magician does have a searchable fusion card now. Although weirdly because it's not a "Fusion" card, it can't be searched with Predaplants or Keeper of Dragon Magic. Somehow, every Dark Magician fusion spell has wording problems.

Everybody thinks of this as a dark magician fusion, but nobody talks about it as a red-eyes fusion. I know dm is a better deck, but people forget red-eyes insight can search the fusion, and since it needs a dragon effect monster, you can send black stone of legend to the gy for the fusion, then getting it back to the hand with its own effect, making this a +1 with a free card to discard for the effect.

Also a fusion substitute like parasite fusion (one for one target, king of the swap) compliments the deck, giving it not only access to Dragun, but also to Slash and Borrel Furious with just opening King of the Swamp and a polymerization/dragon mirror with some of the 3ofs in the deck. The guardragons make this very viable as the fifth summon of the turn with a card in hand, eliminating the greatest weakness of the deck. It finally worths running 3 fusion substitute monsters (2 king, 1 parasite) and 3 fusion cards (2 poly 1 dragon's mirror) without being brick cards.
