I like the idea of the stormwater going back into the ground first. Helps to recharge the water tables. One of our biggest problems is, we have removed so many trees and replaced them with concrete, bitumen and steel. We then redirect all the surface water straight to creeks and rivers, which eventually flow to the ocean. We are drying ourselves out on land while also flooding ourselves....

As a helper on my first tile job it was 20 degrees F outside & I was cleaning the mechanics tools in a janitors mop sink inside the business. My boss yelled at me to stop & explained that it would harden in the pipes. In my youthful infinite wisdom I told him "I'm running plenty of water". He told me "NO if there's even a slight belly in the pipes the mortar would settle in the belly, so get outside & clean them!" Good boss!

Apart from the bad weather, I hope that you are doing well. Nice new van will keep you going for a bit longer job it looks like it’s coming on well. Keep on top of your van, never put the wrong oil in it and when it comes time get the wet belt donetoo many of them vans breaking down and getting broken into. I’ve seen so many people with the side door chiselled out and robbed. I never leave tools in my van at night not worth it
