DA scoops the grease, sings a jubilation, washes up the mess, and Ratty-fies the results. Best channel on KZbin! Cheers from South Florida.

Two things i do now since watching this channel; 1. Whenever i am watering the garden and turn the tap off I always press the trigger on the selector nozzle and say "RELEASE PRESSURE" 2. Occasionally when I walk by a drain I will look at it and say "BLOCKED DRAIN"

No matter what anyone else says Ollie, it's good to see Ratty back on the job. Your channel has grown to such heights because of your hard work and good sense of humor, and Ratty is a huge part of that as well. 👍🏻 All good!!

I love that you used the glove for a few minutes and as soon as you needed it again you just shoved your arm down in there. I always regret it when I get the stuff under my nails but really just don't care at this point. That's how you know you're a veteran.

Since I was a little girl, my mom always told me to never pour grease or oil down the kitchen sink. The water flowing from that pipe, looked like someone poured motor oil down it!😮 Great work Ollie!👍
@mikeworkman3593
@mikeworkman3593 Жыл бұрын
You shouldn't purposely pour grease down the sink(like drippings from cooking bacon, well I save mine for cooking but anyways), but like if you have to drain ground beef after cooking, then you pretty much have to use the sink or dirty more dishes or end up making a mess. You can do it without any issues, but you need to have some hot water running right afterwards, and let it run a few minutes to make sure it is all carried away. Yeah, the piping is weird there, because they run these separate lines for sinks and showers sometimes. So like the large rush of water from flushing the toilet sometimes wouldn't help clear out the grease or whatever is in the same line, like it is here where all the pipes are totally connected, schedule 80(basically bullet proof PVC), buried totally, has only one access IO but it has to be in the same place no matter what your house looks like(middle front), has to be sticking out of the ground by code. So like your kitchen would almost always be in front of one or more toilets, and would be rinsed down the line even if a little grease was just put into the sink, someone would always end up using the toilet a few times soon afterwards and it would just clear it out. Also, nothing that could possibly make raw sewage smell come up is like exposed like it is in these videos, where septic tanks are sometimes right at the surface lol. Looks medieval sometimes lol, no offence ollie. I know Sydney has been there awhile, I'm sure downtown Ft Myers has some old ass pipes also. Probably not clay though lol.

@@mikeworkman3593 Save those dripping! Lol! I wait until they are cooled down and place them in a marked container and store it in our freezer. Sauces, gravy, even homemade dressings. As far as browned loose ground beef, I move the meat to the side, tip the pan and place some paper towels in it. Once absorbed I pick the towels up with metal tongs and toss them in a empty glass jar with a lid. Once full I toss it out with the garbage. B.T.W. I live in Michigan. All pipes are buried below the "frost line". So to reach them a backhoe or an excavator is needed! So fascinating to watch Ollie use a garden shovel. 😄

Cat got Ratty’s tongue? No more chit chat. Just work supervision. And lots of big, nasty messes to troubleshoot and clean up. Final approval per the Ratman. Most excellent job troubleshooting the maze. A lot of drain engineers would have done half of this job and mark it completed. You truly exemplify Colossians 3:23 in your work ethic and morals.

Well done; and a 👍 as always. God bless. The opening/closing shots of Sydney provided a small glimpse of the beauty that surrounds us each day-the blue skies, swans, waterways, trees/plants and more. Its beauty also serves as a very important reminder: "Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, *have been clearly seen,* being understood *through what has been made,* so that people are without excuse" [Romans 1 v20] *Truth is a stubborn thing.*
