Finally! Complete Guide To Setting Up Lua Scripts - KISS Flyduino - Taranis | Crossfire & Frsky

In today's video we do a full walk-thru on setting up KISS lua scripts, from start to finish we will learn how to set this up. Trying to tune with the OSD or a PC in the field is a thing of the past, you can adjust your video channel and output power right through the taranis along with numerous other settings like PIDS, TPA etc..

Thanks for the video, you made me double check my wirings : one cable got ripped off after a Bad crash probably, and I received my new radio shortly after, and I kept having the null value error while wanting to enter the rx with the crossfire.lua and got no value when entering kiss fc's .lua. I was convinced it was a compatibility issue with the x9d 2019 with this coincidence. But no, I'm just stupid. Working now, cheers ! ✌️

Also...... If you need to change channel or band, you can do that also with stick commands.... When disarmed.... Throttle up, yaw left - band, throttle up, yaw right - channel.... WITH.... pitch up, roll left - -1, pitch up, roll right - +1.... Long beeps - band, Short beeps - channel ;) Just FYI.... Yeah, i made this cheat code for non lua users ;)))

update: got it to work by placing the folder in the root script folder as well as the telemetry

Doomrider_ FPV mine just flashes the telemetry, but won’t let you use any of the buttons, while it says no telemetry?

Thanks for the great video. Helped me setup the script on my taranis x9d+. One question though, how do you use the battery warning page? I can change the pids and they save, but I’m not sure if it’s possible to set an audible alarm for the battery? Thanks for your help

Thankyou very much for this tutorial video cuz I was looking for this for last 3 days even its not for kiss fcv1 but it cleared lot of my doubts, as I am coming back to this hobby after a long time of 3 years and a lot have been changed and I have to re learn everything again and most of the fpv majority is on the betaflight side so very less contents on kiss. You saved my a lot of money to rebuy Please if possible make the video for kiss lua script for radiomaster tx16s. Or is the kiss lua for taranis will also work on radiomaster tx16s ???

bro, can yo put a video on how to set up tbs CRSF-shot with KISS LUA on the Taranis X9D+? I went through the steps(provided by mike chin), but for some reason can not get my LUA to actually work on my Taranis....something is off. I love your videos man. I am a fellow KISS user. It is hard to find good videos out there relating to KISS for some reason. Everything is beta flight. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Are you running CRSF-Shot on our Taranis?

Please, can you make a vid about RSSI-Value in OSD with Wolf PDB V3 ? Read that this is only possible throuh an analog input ..???? There are a lot of people struggling with that issue. KISS & Wolf PDB V3 claims to be "Super-Simple" - but why the hell is such an important value as RSSI is that hard to get on my OSD ???

I have a problem. I'm very new to this hobby and just build the mr steele alien 5 build. I recently flashed the Fc and ESCs on the kiss GUI program. When I did a motor test, everything went perfectly. But as soon as I connect my dohne (without having done a computer motor test before) to a lipo, everything looks normal, but the motorn do not spin. I give 100% throttle and nothing happens. Please help me, I do not know what to do

i just use trhe data pad to the tx5 pad on the fc. not audio. i use audio as audio.

@Drainman i have used your video, the taranis is talking to the Kiss but i have no telemetry coming through. Everything seems to be installed correctly. Any ideas?

Make sure you power up by plugging in a lipo, check the tx and rx and that they are connecting with each other. Head to page 12 (telemetry), scroll down and "delete all sensors" and confirm/enter. Then choose "discover new sensors" and stop once they populate. This will refresh everything and fingers crossed, sorts your issue :)

Cool video, thx for it! I still have a little problem. The LUA is working but I cannot navigate with the menu button. I have to change to another screen with "page" and when I press "page" again I am on the next page from the LUA. Has anyone ever had that issue?

The menu and page button work differently when you're inside of the Lua menu.

I think there is a mistake on your video. You are putting the KISS folder into the Telemetry folder but, in Github web says that you KISS folder has to be places on the SD-card root. The KissCf and the KissSp files should be placed into either/both /SCRIPTS/TELEMETRY folder, is it?

Im afraid worst, Drain. Is there anything to check if I fried the 24A 4in1 Kiss Esc updating them with diferent Esc Type firmware update? Because Now, I can not arm the motors. And the blue LED's no longer light up.

@@DrainManFPV Thanks for this video first off. I had the same issue as davidsagal using 2.3.4 on 1/10/2020. I had to put the KISS folder in root sd location and it worked great! Everything else was spot on!!

Usually the sound lets you know that you did it right. Even though there is no sound doesn't still change it?
