Thank you for the update Odd thing i noticed with the taranis telemetry, if you moved to crossfire telemetry entries may change, for example your voltage may be referenced differently or as another instance and not picked up by existing special functions/logical switchs.. etc. Had to delete and find fresh, took care of my problem.

I can’t get L02 in logical switches to work on the Tang2 it never gives the option for 2 only zero... then when you save the RFMD show as - - - can you so a video on setting up CF sounds on the Tango 2. Since we all are Quarantine in anyway!

I just copied the radio setup exactly as you did with your sound pack and it kept repeating constantly "crossfire rf profile high speed". So I changed it from a 1 to !- in the special functions. Hope that's ok

I have a eagletree vector and a crossfire receiver, is there away to override or turn off the failsafe in crossfire, so the Eagletree vector can engage the RTH feature. because right now Crossfire turn off the motor crashes the plane. well I have not done that but I have tested this on the bench thanks Scott
@Painless3605 жыл бұрын
Please see the Crossfire series on the channel. You can setup the Crossfire to handle a fail-safe in a few ways but by far the best for the Vector for any receiver (again, see my Vector series) is the no pulse option.. Hope that helps..

Can I use open TX 2.1.9 and get Telemetry I do not want to use the Lua ?
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
+fritzryan79 I've not tried it, most of the later telemetry systems expect OpenTX 2.2. The telemetry systems changed dramatically between OpenTX 2.1 and OpenTX 2.2 so most things are not backward compatible. Best of luck

Regarding chaning the power of the crossfire, have you set that up as a knob, or what do you think of dynamic power?
@LCSRacing7 жыл бұрын
What sort of delay would you associate with 70%? I just moved my alarm back to RQly @ 70% and it does touch it from time to time 100 yards or so out. I have a tuned antenna on the radio, (X9) latest crossfire firmware. I have tried immortal antenna under the arm, L configuration on the tail, ground horizontal, have tried stock antenna under the arm , i.e straight in a wire tie arrangement. Still i can consistently get below 70% RQly. Mind you it doesnt stay , but does touch it. I tried .3 delay and it still will activate the alarm. Any idea's?
@LCSRacing7 жыл бұрын
Bumped the output to 100 and seems ok now.
@Painless3607 жыл бұрын
+stef dan as every location is individual, you'd have to set up a small delay that worked for the area that you were flying in. By default I added a 5 second delay to all of the alarms to avoid errors from brief dips but I would have increased that slightly if I found that I was getting lots of excessive alerts. As I said, it's a very individual setting, dependent on where you're flying. Best of luck

I can’t find any videos how the set there switches its my first time to use tbs crossfire so any tips or video tutorials would help. Let’s say like the rssi you must need to go on tbs lua and set to channel 8 or 12. But the switches is a bit confusing me.. thank and advance

The stuff you're looking at is a little advance then. I'd recommend watching my Taranis or 'OpenTX mix school' playlists. They start very simply and build up. I came from Spektrum too, after a couple of things clicked the radio became a lot easier to set up

Thanks for this video. Just wondering, if you are flying in RFMD 2 does the LQ % matter that much? I've been asking around and the way I understand it is that LQ doesn't really matter in RFMD 2 but when it switches to RFMD 1 you have to be careful around 75%. Is the way I've been understanding things incorrect? Im just trying to gather as much info as possible so I don't loose my quad somewhere unretrievable. Thanks!

+Joey Zuliani both are useful ways to let you know that the signal is dropping. TBS is working on improving how this system works so it's easier for pilots to figure out when the signal is getting too low and you need to turn back.
