great vid, nice and simple! the switch you hit for 'turtle mode' should be "SC" but S2 is displayed instead of SC...for those following along...obviously select any switch yas want!!

Oh my God dude you saved my ass. My turtle mode acts weird, only working sometimes, but it works. Beeper works and the big one, the Arm switch works. I had the thing where a red light would come on when I hit the throttle but that was the only thing that happened. I didn't set up switches but I found your video and had it working pretty quick. I actually got to fly a battery before bed. Nice quick video with no bs.

Interestingly I was able to set up arm mode without this set up. However after I crashed i had to replace my rx antenna and re solder some of my motor wires and now I haven't been able to arm how I previously was arming. I'm hoping this video will help more

in the video you didn't give thortl to the maximum, if I give thortl to the maximum, then this button has no reaction of any kind the drone flies ... how do I lower it back ...? so .. you push thortl until half is ok .. it reacts back but if I pushed until over half ... ready it hurts and thortl doesn't react anymore ... how do I lower it?

Hey man thanks for the video. I appreciate it but when I get into betaflight. I go to switches I only have one bar that says arm I don't have any other of them how do I get them? I'm new to fpv and I'm trying to get the novice 3 to arm you know what I mean I can't even fly this damn thing because I'm hooking up the tranis qx7 cuz the other controllers a piece of s***.. I did get a bind and the controller seems ready it responds in betaflight but nothing going to the quad any input or advice would certainly be nice and thanks for your time.

I recently purchased a QX7 and was having terrible trouble getting my drone to even activate. It came down it my channels being programmed in opentx to AETR. I reordered the channels on the QX7 to AETR and the channel mapping finally worked. I then used opentx to change my QX7 to TAER; however, it didn’t change the mapping on the QX7. It remains AETR. When I use the QX7 to change the mapping to TAER, I can see in betaflight that the mapping is not correct. Is that how it’s supposed to work? Any explanation would be helpful.

Unfortunately if the FC is set to AETR you will have to change it when you purchase it and get it to the correct mapping suitable to you.

No one has a Betaflight set up for dummies. Basics like cable (I hope it's the mini/USB) and setting up virtual serial ports. 2 days and all I see is COM1 , COM2 , Manual Selection. :(
