I know everyone wants to hate Drake's mother, but if Drake can forgive her, then we shouldn't condemn her for what happened. I'm sure he has felt every single emotion towards her, and had some difficult conversations with her, but they are both healing and moving forward. THAT is what matters.

@@septimaserpent You're right, I don't. I don't care because I know what it's like to make mistakes, have people make up lies about you, and exaggerate the truth. She lied about her age and SA. She ruined a good man's reputation. Because of jealousy, and obsession. All he did was send a text. He blocked her when he found out her real age. Yes, it was unprofessional to talk to a fan like that at any age. He made a stupid mistake. If someone is healing and taking accountability, they deserve a chance. We all make stupid mistakes. We are all villains in some story. The only difference is that his mistakes are blasted. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. If he messes up again, I won't support him. For now, he has my support. I really hope he succeeds.

Me too Like, yes he’s shared a huge part of his life with us but that doesn’t give people the right to his experience for clicks, others say stupid things that make you think ‘wow, did you really just say that’. Don’t get me wrong, I 💯% support his decision to come forward, I think that he needed to do that he can truly move forward with his healing but I appreciate why he was hesitant for obvious reasons but also that people will only see him for what happened to him or the 2021 case

He has already talked about this many, many, many times. Check out the Man Enough podcast; there is some great insight and accountability into what happened. It would be a sad world to think people aren’t allowed to change and show growth. He made poor decisions while burying down horrific trauma. Now he is sharing his story, inspiring others, and trying to work past the trauma. It isn’t wrong to allow him the grace to heal and demonstrate that healing in his behavior with himself and others.

Great interview. The interviewer was so kind and thoughtful, and allowed Drake the space to work through some of the more difficult questions with great tact. Can’t wait to see what Drake does next and how he uses his platform going forward!

@septimaserpent Because he's owned that, regardless of not knowing her age, he should never have been messaging a fan like that regardless. That he can't blame his own choices on the things that happened to him. Drake knows he fucked up, Drake's fans also know he fucked up. But you have to let people heal. You have to give people a chance to grow and change and be better. THATS how cycles get broken. The decision of whether to 'forgive' Drake isn't on us, and it never will be, because we weren't there. Like, I'm not saying "Drake Bell did nothing wrong", but I am saying that personally I choose to hold empathy and grace and the benefit of the doubt for someone who seems to be making the effort to heal his own traumas and to become a better human.

@@septimaserpentNah… Ain’t nothing gross about what he did. It was blown waaay out of proportion because his accuser lied through her fucking teeth. Sorry for using my sentence enhancers, but it’s the truth & nobody sees it because they believe in bullshit spread by the corrupt media. In reality, she hounded him online for acknowledgement. She stalked him online, stalked his wife, & repeatedly attended his concerts after she was “supposedly” assaulted.

He didn’t do anything yet you still throw dirt on his name even after all the evidence that was shown and proven on documents, considering the investigation was a long ongoing process they spent three years on. The guy has finally gotten his life together as he’s definitely shown a lot of growth and maturity in him, put it to bed already.
