Which he does all the time that's always been highlighted by the people who react to his music the many amount of countless flows and inflictions that he uses when he's delivering his lyrics, to the point that they can't even keep up with the multiple changes within one song. If your intention is to discredit Kendrick by comparing him to Drake it's not working and never has. They are two completely different people their music has no comparison to each other respectfully. That's why Kendrick said in watch the party di3.. "LORD please draw the line they're trying to confuse him with me", and this is exactly what you're doing. I think u believe because Kendrick is not actively on social media, he's not in tune with what's going on and what's being said about him, but he always lets us know in his music that he's fully aware, so take notes respectfully. It wouldn't be so bad if he would just tighten up the lyrics. This sounds like a first draft that he never bothered to revisit and improve. The "close like ovens and kitchens" punch should have been left in the vault. Ovens aren't close to kitchens, they're located in the kitchen. Ovens and fridges would've made more sense as they're both appliances you find in the average kitchen. But either way, it's not really a line worth saying. "Subtle addiction" is a nonsense phrase. That could've easily been changed to something resembling a normal turn of phrase that fit the rhyme scheme. He could've just straight up said, "I don't have a problem with alcoholism." There are so many other little things he could've changed to improve this piece, and though it wouldn't make the sentiment any better, it would've at least elevated the writing a bit.

This is not good raps idc what anybody say. Dude got the weakest punchlines for someone that’s supposed to be a top “rapper”. Bro said “You use to check up on my son like a pediatrician” -> yes it makes sense, but this is simple as hell lol it’s like saying “I use to check up on my dawg like a veterinarian”. “We use to be close like oven & kitchens” is just embarrassing. The rhyme scheme is basic bro it’s not complex at all. Then the feeling and the tone of the track is mediocre and BORING. This guy is supposed to be versatile right? Sure, he is versatile by making music for other genres(that doesn’t make a song good) but this guy can’t use his voice as an instrument he just literally talks over the beat with no emotion or manipulation of his voice lol. Then the “that wasn’t me” is just plain corny, bro we all seen you act tough but now it isn’t you, so you admitting you were acting out of character? I don’t want to hear Drake stans call anybody boring again. This guy also trying to justify his snake nature and justify his sore loser mentality, by being disingenuous. The monotone melatonin raps aren’t even dished out with effort anymore. If this is all he got just keep singing bro! Edit: and how many times he gone steal Kendrick bars and think we not gone notice ?????

@ nah!! Not the VICTIM mentality. We don’t want to hear that! Take accountability or shut up!! I mean YOU say he’s showing emotion…. And we don’t like it…. I say he’s acting like a victim and not taking accountability for HIS role in this and until he does…the culture isn’t feeling him. Dude sounds broken but crying like a victim at the same time….. pick a struggle sir. We don’t feel sorry for him getting exactly what he asked for! HE went low first by calling Dot a woman beater and bringing Dot wife and kids into it when Dot warned him in the beginning “ this a friendly fade you should keep it that way “… “ don’t tell no lie about me and I won’t tell the truth about you” He ASKED for what he got now he a victim?? We not trying to hear that!

@@jhitspput emotion in your music absolutely! We love music that has emotion and range.. however, you can’t contradict yourself the entire time but tell everyone you’re the victim. Especially the line about people playing with his family, like HE doesn’t use people’s family and spouses in records. All the brother talk, but you fucked your mentor’s girl.. stop this. "Freestyle" has always been off the dome not off the phone. People can say it is about a flow of thought and can be penned or off the dome all they want but all I hear when I see someone reading a "freestyle" is someone who has no clue of the historical meaning of the word in hip hop. This is some new school twist on it that came into play around 2010, any old head would laugh you out the room calling that a freestyle.

While the flow is... Drake, the writing reminds me of those early 80s bars where people were just saying stuff to rhyme, making no damn sense. I just can't understand what makes him act like this.
