The interviewer much like Drake is denial and can’t read the room. He’s reached his peak bro. All these desperate attempts at relevance is proof of that. You can talk numbers all you want but there is no greater meter of the times than the feeling of the culture right now. Aside from his core fans no one is interested in his new music. There is no surprises or anything Drake can do to flip the ethos of this moment. It’s the end of an era. An the sooner he realizes this and let go of his ego the better for him. That’s not to knock his legacy cuz he had a great run. But everything comes to an end. Accept it and let it go.

Dude in the white shirt, STOP IT! Seems like you need Drake to comeback to his former glory. He’s not. Kdot sucked the juju out of him. He has been dropping trash since the beef. That Cabelo chick feature was done pre beef and it was horrible. What you also need to understand is Kdot pulled the curtain back and everyone sees Drake for what he is, and they aren’t interested. Give a baby real food and they will never go back to formula. Drake is stuck mentally in his teenage years. Listen to his old music from the beginning until the beef and what do you notice?
@JustSomeMisfit17 сағат бұрын
You think because every Kendrick fan is loud on the internet that it translates to real life? Unfortunately for you, it doesn't. Drake's Australia shows are already looking to sell out. People still rap and sing his verses at Rick Ross shows and in bars and clubs. You and everyone else is gonna stream his next album, and the one after that. Haters and fans alike, and that's why he's had the run he's had, and that's why he's still not going anywhere. Ironically, yall help him more than you realize. 😂
@improvingurlife12 сағат бұрын
@ you can not be a real adult. You think his streams and concerts will sustain him at the level he’s used to 🤭. Look at what streaming services pay artists and what concerts cost him. Look at what has happened in the last 8 months. People are saying UMG had his track that was dropped Friday taken down. No he was trying to see how people would react with a solo project. If he was confident he would have released it himself on his socials. People still listen to Euphoria and NLU, in heavy rotation which will remind them of who Drake is. Drake dropped several music projects since the beef and they were flops by his standards. You’re talking about Kendrick fans being loud online. That doesn’t mean anything for him. Drake fans are loud and that doesn’t mean anything for him either. People keep talking about Kendrick but he has absolutely nothing to do with Drake’s career. The only person that can help or stop Drake is Drake. That music that dropped last week is a reflection of where he is mentally. He sounds like he did on the ❤️ part 6, defeated. I’m sure there are people who liked it but there were people who ate his lunch and I promise you it further hurt him. He needs to get healed emotionally and grow up mentally. How men navigate high school or college is how they navigate life. They live trying to make up for who or what they didn’t have. If they were popular, they try to live out their glory days. He behaves like a teenager in relationships. How is he mad about his friends liking music of another artist? That is immature. He betrays his friends and colleagues . He’s constantly flashing his money and material things but that will only carry you so far when it comes to human connections. People have tolerated him because of what they were hoping to get from him or they felt powerless to confront him. Do you think it was a coincidence that he was alone during the beef with Kendrick? Kendrick was exposing what other people have said about Drake before. The reason it had the impact it did is because the world was watching. There were people coming out of the wood work talking about how they were treated by Drake. People started pulling out all kinds of evidence of what Kendrick was saying. They had been waiting for the opportunity to expose him. You said unfortunately for me, no Drake’s success or failure has no bearing on my life. If he died today it would not have any effect on my musical preferences or how I feel. Unfortunately for him he is not ready to make any changes in his life so he will continue on this downward trajectory. There are artist from the 70s, 80s and 90s that sell out concerts and they also get streams. But they’re not sitting at the top of their genres. You are measuring success by the wrong thing. What you don’t know is as men get past the age of 40 they start reflecting on their lives and what’s really important. At this point, he is alone and empty. Fans won’t comfort him when he can’t sleep or needs someone to talk to. He has been on streams with people that don’t know him or his music. Why do you think that is? Watch him not as an artist but as a human being. Emotional and Mental health issues don’t have a wealth limit nor do they care who you are or what your job is!

Drake has been in the game for over 17 years, and it’s inevitable that no one stays at the top forever. Nobody seems to be talking about this, but Drake drooped or featured on EIGHTEEN (18. Don't believe me, go back and count em) songs in 2023, with NONE OF THEM hitting the top 200 on any chart. 18 songs and worse still, most of us haven't heard more than a handful of those 18. We've never seen that from anybody, much less him. The even worse part is, he can't seem to refocus and move his energy. If dude went straight EDM or something, like some Flocka type shit, maybe it would give him a second to come back to some sort of prominence, and not be constantly requiring validation from a culture who isn't giving it out. But dude NEEDS it. You know this because on the Aiden Ross stream, Aiden called him a "black man," and Drake stopped mid sentence to literally say, "Thank you, man. That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me all year." Kenny did that boy bad and he's desperate. It's safe to say that Ray Daniels is 100% right. This is over.

Drake hasn’t dropped anything wack during or after battle. But I believe that the haters got the momentum. It’s a perfect storm of Drake being on top too long, Kendrick being a dope rapper with more support from the culture, and powers behind the scene with their fingers on the scale. We’re in a world now where it’s even easier to be brainwashed. I can’t see why an individual would feel like if you like one artist you can’t like the other. Not just that but wish for the other’s downfall. Thats that “it was all good just a week ago”. Don’t hate the player hate the algorithm. According to the “industry’ nobody is bigger than the program.

Drake will always be alright. He’s got a fan base that does not care about hip hop and or even care about black people.. and that’s who he’ll stick to making music for.

only thing I don't agree with is what he said about new york and la. The east not afraid of the west, we just respect where it could go. We seen this before and no one backed down until two legends were gone. no one got the better of that one.

during the battle I said to myself, "this is the perfect setup for one helluva run win or lose." drake needs to get his ducks in a row, wait for the aftermath of the super bowl halftime show to die down then execute and hell be back, IF KENDRICK DOESN'T RELEASE ANOTHER DISS.

@ he’s obviously sipped the Kendrick Juice. He’s beyond bias and not being objective at all regardless whether he’s an exec with experience. How is it over for the guy who’s been a top the game for 15 years and is still the most streamed rapper even after the beef? He couldn’t even explain that in a way that made sense. Since when is whining in Hip-Hop fly❓ They forget how The Game ended G-Unit. Compton MCs are undefeated against outsiders. Drake needs to stay in his lane and leave the stick talk alone. You can't leak a freestyle talking about blowing up someone's car and in real life trying to take people to court.
