The Drake copy cat/culture vulture allegations and controversy explained! Drake is notorious for copying other artists, stealing flows and lyrics, and faking accents. Aside from Drake’s strange involvement with minors like Millie Bobby Brown, Drake has been a controversial figure for years. Drake has copied Soulja Boy, X, Big Sean, Smino, and much more. Drake has also copied the personalities of Lil Wayne, Future, and 21 Savage over the years. Throughout Drake's career he has gone on to fake different accents, personalities, and cultural backgrounds to stay at the top. Drake also has a terrible case of arrested development, even up to this day at 37 years old. In the past 18 years since Drake first became a rapper, he has slowly morphed into the Master of Plagiarism, Arrested Development, Fake Accents, Culture Colonization and Stolen Personalities. Drake stole our accent and stigmatized it to the point where everyone makes fun of it now. Theres even a video of him saying the toronto accent is mad weird so we know he never spoke like that growing up. The man grew up in Forest Hill, not a jamaican neighbourhood. Hes been riding any wave thats poppin from when Toronto started blowing up to the UK, reggae, and even ATL. Even the "ginobili dance " in hotline bling is stolen from the song "Still by Mo-g and Smoke Dawg". Great video

Like their other big "hit"--Can't Get Enough of You Baby was originally done by ? (Question mark)and the Mysterians in 1967. I learned that when I met ? In my hometown where he actually lives now when I was about 13. He was low key/high key pissed about the commercial success they got from his song. They're actually basically a glorified cover band considering they also "borrowed" quite a few more from various other artists. As a kid growing up hearing all these and seeing their music videos for them, I thought they were really good too, so did a lot of people when they were playing these on the radio and MTV all the time. "Why Can't We Be Friends?" - Originally by War. "Getting Better" - Originally by The Beatles. "Do It Again" - Originally by The Beach Boys. "Don't You (Forget About Me)" - Originally by Simple Minds.
