Coaching has been the problem this year. When the team lacks talent you should never have to say coaching has cost this team multiple games. AVP is improving and his scheme is built off the run game and when he has a mediocre run game he calls a good game. What’s really going to piss me off as a fan is if Vrabel gets hired and wins a Super Bowl with a team that has 5 or less wins this year. Biggest mistake we made in the off season was not at the very minimum talking to other people and Kraft is 100% to blame. If we go through the rest of this year and this coaching staff cost this team more wins Mayo should be gone. Fix your mistake early before it’s to late

If you want to know why the Patriots lost to the Rams you really don’t have to go any further back than this years draft class. The Patriots picked at the top of every rd and got nothing. They get 0 points for taking Maye that was their reward for sucking in the previous season they were taking one of the top three QBs regardless of order. The Rams #1 pick was Verse 2nd rd was Braedon Fiske, the fellow who abruptly introduced himself to Drake Maye forcing that fumble. A 300 lb man with the quickness and agility of a cat he went 3 picks after Polk. They also got the guy that sealed the deal picking of Drake Maye on the final drive, Kam Kichens. All starting players on a pretty good defense with promising futures. With the possible exception of Joe Milton the Patriots draft was a complete bust so far. Maybe stop blaming Van Pelt for everything and gut the player personnel dept and send nepo baby Elliot home to his daddy

I am not a draft expert, nor do I follow college football closely. I remember people asking for offense, receivers particularly. That is a lot of what they drafted. To your main point, at this time, excluding Maye, their offensive picks are not very good. I would welcome Fiske over Polk for sure. The Pats have many needs right now. I hope they do not get in a loop of chasing each phase of the team through many drafts to come.

@@1sewalker totally agree they need to take best player available with the exception of QB if T Mac is available when they pick then perfect he is a 6-4 210 lb receiver with good speed and great hands and has some surprising YAC abilities but he will probably be gone and in that case take Ashton Jeanty who is a generational RB that is ridiculous. But I’m not against them taking a defensive player if that player is an obvious can’t miss player. They need everything they have very little high end talent outside of Maye and Gonzo
